DOVE
It all happened so fast.
One second, the voice of Callum shouting my name sounded and the next an eerie silence entailed as if a pause button was abruptly pressed.
There was a buzzing in my ears I couldn’t seem to identify the cause of. And total darkness clouded my vision. Something felt so so wrong, yet my immediate senses couldn’t seem to identify it.
„Your eyes..open your eyes..„ a quiet voice sounded from somewhere, prompting me to open eyes I hadn’t even realized were closed.
The whole place was utter destruction. There was a massive crater in the ground with smoke still rising out, trees were bent and uprooted, grasses were burnt to crisps. The air still seemed to thrum with a sort of dangerous energy, it had goosebumps dancing around my skin.
