chapter 9

king Xander pov

I was so damn tired after i got the stack of paperwork done, my mine was on that alpha mating ball thing i had to tend to, I will arrive first, and i hope i can have a table in the back so no one would bother me, I told Roger i would come but want to be left alone, ill sit in the back drink my drinks and watch everyone and decide who i will choose to be my chosen mate. i haven't found her, she must not be born yet, or she's dead, it could be a possibility it's heard of that a mate can die before they can even meet each other, I was done so i decided to head up to my room, All i knew i needed to get up early and have a meeting with my beta about the rogue attacks in other packs, Closing my bedroom door i took my clothes off, i was about to take my boxers off to shower when i heard a knock on the door, rolling my eyes i already knew who it was, she has been wanting me to chose her to be my queen/ but i made a rule a few rules, Never sleep with anyone that is in my kingdom, and never chosen a mate in my kingdom, unless she is my actual mate, i didn't really make these rules my fathers, father, father had made that rule. Don't ask me why but hey whatever, i follow that rule, Don't get me wrong i really liked Laura but she can get annoying at times, i've heard that she's been telling everyone that she will be queen, s**t not if i can help it, If you want to know if i've slept with anyone in my kingdom, yes i have many of them, but she doesn't have to know that, putting on a pair of shorts i decided to answer the door, i opened it than said,

“What do you need, Laura?” she was standing there in a pretty green sundress with her long red hair over her shoulders, her eyes were outline in green that showed off her hazel eyes, even her toes and finger nails were painted, she wasn't wearing much makeup, good i hated that it makes women look like clowns, i don't mind a little bit, but to much that makes your face orange is way to much,

“Can I come inside my king, i would like to have a chat with you?” I knew why she wanted to come inside, i might regret this later on, but i opened my door wider letting her inside, i watched as she walked beside me, and i couldn't help but notice she brushed against me, my wolf was growling not liking her,

"She is not our mate Xander, I don't like her smell.” I noted what he had said, every time he says he doesn't like someone's smell there is something wrong with them, so i was careful when i closed the door, i sat on my couch telling her to sit down if she wanted, she decided to sit beside me, almost on my lap,

“So Laura, what do you want to talk about? I know you didn't come in my room just to sit down and not say anything.”

“Well my king, Everyone has talked about you coming home with no mate, i know you have searched for her for years, and you have not found her, are you going to choose someone to be your queen.” I knew this was going to happen. i was regretting letting her inside my room, sighing. i stood up from my own couch in my room,

‘Laura, i know you are wanting to be my queen, but i have never gave you any reason to think i wanted you in any way, you know the rules in my kingdom Laura,” I watched her roll her eyes at me, she stood up walking over to me, her hand ran down my chest as she looked into my eyes, i knew what was on her mind,

‘Xander, please, i already know you sleep around, come on your a man w***e that sleeps with anyone that would open their legs to you, your half way through the kingdom, the only thing you haven't done was sleep with the mated females,” i stopped her before she could go on with her stupid talk, i held my hand up so she would shut the h3ll up., than i spoke,

“I want you to listen to my little girl carefully

, i haven't slept with half my kingdom, and if I have its still none of your damn business, one more thing, if you do not stop lying about you are going to be my queen, I'm going to have you locked up. Is that clear? now get out of my room before i throw your ass out,”

‘But Xander, I was only trying to suggest.” I Held the door open i did not say anything else, i pointed at her and then i pointed at the hall, she huffed flipped her hair back stuck her nose in the air, and than said,

“No wonder your cursed, who is going to want you anyways when everyone finds out that your cursed,” SHe stomped out the door as i slammed it behind her, i knew everyone in the kingdom knew i was cursed because of my damn brother that killed that witches sister, all because of him, but how could i be mad at her when it was his own fault for doing so, i took my shower and got to bed, i knew i had a long day ahead of myself

Laura pov

When i got to my room i made sure no one was in the halls,i wanted to make sure no one could hear me when i talked on the phone, i was thankful for the rooms to be soundproof but if someone was walking by they could hear from the door, so i went out to my balcony when i got inside, making sure no one was outside i pulled my cell phone out,

“Hello Laura, I've been waiting for you to call me. What's the problem now?” Without warning, I was transferred to the witch's house.

"That's better. I hate talking on the phone. Face to face is so much better than talking on the phone, don't you think?” She always likes to scare me for some reason, but i try to hide it the best way i can,

“Yeah, I think face to face is a lot better, but you know I can't stay here for too long, We have a problem. i thought when you cursed him, you said he would want me as his mate and queen. Was that a lie because he just threw me out of his damn room. How is he going to have a pup and live if he doesn't have a mate.” she sat in her chair, smoking a smoke puffing it out of her nose. she chuckled as she flicked the ashes in her ashtray, Her cat jumped up in her lap, laying down to be petted, the damn thing hissed at me,

“I might have cursed him, but he wasn't the one that killed my sister, dear girl, but he doesn't know that. that's the whole point, i could make him infertility that way he can't have pups, but better yet, i can make the woman he chooses to be that way, i will see what i can do, as long as you stay on my good side silly girl, You do realize you have a mate out there right?”

“Yeah I do. but I will reject him for Xander, so you better not send him to me.” She rolled her eyes at me than said,

“I think it's time for you to leave my house now, it's almost sunrise and you been here far too long for my taste, With that i was back in my room, the phone still in my hand, i place it to my ear because i knew she was on the phone,

‘Do not ever tell me what to do silly girl, he will come on his own not because i sent him, sleep well, and don't be to pushy with him, he doesn't like to be pushed in a corner,’ She hung up the phone with a click, i thought to myself,

“I have to find a way to kill that b***h just like i did her sister, she was going to tell everyone i was trying to cast a spell on Xander, but his brother found out about my deal and he came looking for me, instead of finding me with her, he found the dead witch with a bullet right in her forehead and a dagger in her heart, her sister came and killed him thinking that he was the one that killed her, thats when she decided to curse Xander because of his brother, i was far away from that spot when everything went down, now it's time to find a way to get rid of her before she blabs everything to the wrong person,
