When Aurora asked Gracelyn to carve her jade for her, she did not do so blindly. He had been carving for six years and she had seen his work. The reason he didn’t want to do it had nothing to do with still. Rather, it had everything to do with confidence.
Gracelyn looked at Aurora and said, “I don’t feel like I have the experience to cut such an expensive piece of jade…”
