Lune pretended to show confusion on her face, but felt very delighted in her mind. “What a poor idiot.” “Stop trying to pretend to be confused, please? You did prepare the present for me and tried to use it against me!” Aurora bit her lips in anger. In fact, Lune’s trick didn’t succeed. Since it was playacting, Aurora thought that she should act naturally to make Lune believe that she was truly being punished by Caldwell. So she pretended to be very angry and turned around to leave alone. And luckily, Lune totally believed her and felt very happy to think that Aurora must’ve been punished seriously. Thinking about that, she couldn’t help wanting to tell the world about her excitement. But she just controlled her emotions and pretended to be innocent, shouting sadly towards Aurora, “Rory, you’ve got me all wrong. I can explain it! Come back, Rory! You are my best friend. I won’t harm you!” she showed her ‘kindness‘ vividly. “Hypocritical girl!” Aurora thought. She pretended she didn’t hear what Lune said and went directly to the dressing room. As Lune saw the closing door in front of her, she slowed down her pace and turned to walk into the crowd at banquet to enjoy the delicate foods and wine. They hadn’t noticed that in a dark corner nearby, two men had heard everything. Dustin was greatly astonished, “Mr. Elliott, could you understand what happened? It is so complicated!” he knew Aurora hadn’t admitted that the box belonged to her and was also not blamed by his master. Why was she still fighting with Lune, then? Originally, he thought Aurora was innocent, but according to their conversation just then, this case was not that simple as he imagined. However, a more serious problem has come to him. If he knew that the gift was Lune’s idea, what would he think? No one could accept the truth like this. “God bless him. Please don’t be angry, Mr. Elliott!” Dustin prayed in his heart. To his surprise, he didn’t appear to be angry. Instead, he stood aside like a gentleman, thoughtfully. “It seems that Aurora turned sensible after drowning.” Caldwell thought. Suddenly he was reminded of her those sly eyes on that day when Aurora kicked Lune into water. At that moment, she looked like a fairy or an angel, deeply enchanting him. No matter how Aurora changed, Caldwell never minded but only doted her. While thinking about that, he put a careless smile on his face…
