I'm still following Markus Wolf who has been running for an hour now. I am trying to get hold of him but he is faster than I thought. I made a mistake twenty-five years ago and I will not turn my back again this time. He suffers a lot because of me. I want to apologize and I want us to make amends.
I keep running until he stops. He's now at the top of the cliff looking at me. I looked into his beautiful sea eyes.
Is he going to jump? I asked myself.
I started to shift into my human form.
"Markus no!!! Please don't do this." I shouted while climbing naked on the cliff. "I know I made a mistake turning my back on you and I'm sorry... I can't see you dying back then, I can't, I just can’t. I don't know that you're still alive. I feel our bond broken. I thought I lost you."
He looks at me
