Violet froze.
“I didn't want to believe at first, but it couldn't be anyone else."
“What do you mean, Gwen?" Violet asked.
“I never thought you'd be able to do something like that to us, Violet. But when the rumors started to be about you, I kind of put the pieces together. You did this because you fell in love, wasn't it?" Gwen said with disappointment.
Violet looked at her without knowing what to say.
“Of course not. I did it because I have principles." Violet said.
“Principles…" Gwen disdained. “We gave you a good life, didn't we? You were raised like my sister, you had the same things that I did. Isn't gratitude one of your principles? How could you do this to me? You ruined my life."
Her eyes were full of tears as she exploded towards Violet.
