Chapter Sixteen: Prison Time

I had been left in a tiny hovel of a prison cage. Ivy had been too broken by our loss to keep her form. She had just given up. I almost felt like I was all alone now. My knees were against my chest as I just stared at the wall. Sleep would be good but I would be wasting the last hours I had left in this world. There would be no trial, no time for me to announce just what Obsidian had done to Lapis, just a ceremony of me being led out into the middle of the pack, and then killed. I had to wonder how they were going to do it. Would they try to cut my head off? Would the entire pack be involved each stabbing or biting me?
