Chapter 3 Llona It was late Sunday afternoon. With May at my side, I crossed the street to the library. We figured we’d stake out the library early, then position ourselves where we could watch who came through the front doors. We also thought this would be the safest place to try and sense other supernaturals, specifically the witches who were coming for their meeting. May pushed open the old building’s heavy front door. “I haven’t been to a library since high school, but I don’t remember them being so dark and dank.” “That’s because they weren’t,” I whispered as our footsteps echoed across warped, wooden flooring into the lobby. This building had to have been one of the oldest in all of Irondale by the looks of it. Tall, stained glass windows of angels and demons filled the entrance
