Alpha Gavin

Chapter 11

Mia's POV

"Hey, where are you taking her to?" Gavin asks, putting up a stern look. "Without my permission, even if you took it, I wouldn't let you." Then he gazes at me. "What happened?" He looks back at Emma who is walking towards us. He halts her with his hand, which makes her stop suddenly.

Had he finished with the fight, I stop to wonder, same with the men taking me by the wrist, or had he sensed I was being taken away? He pulls apart their hands from mine, they easily let go of me as the Alpha is one challenging them, they wouldn't mind if it was someone else.

"What happened?" He asks again. "You got into a fight?" His eyes blink randomly in fear and I sense that fear is of what might have happened to me. Everyone sees Emma as stronger, this gives me a second thought that Gavin's expression could be an amazement of how I happen to beat the girl whom everyone saw as very strong.

"Emma threw a punch on me after I got out. I wasn't expecting it, I wouldn't mind revealing that I was afraid of retaliation at first until a voice pushed me, I summoned courage and gave her two of the hardest blows she deserves." I say with pride, Gavin dad who has been watching me from his wife's side with disgust walks over to me.

"She has committed a serious crime by allegedly trying to kill, that's an attempted murder, by causing blood to flow."

"Don't you, dad," Gavin retaliates. "If it was Emma that succeeded in beating her to stupor, you would have been glad, all what you are saying now, you wouldn't have said it."

"Listen, if you wish to stand by her side against me, then prepare to take her out of my estate. I built this estate, I don't want her foot here any longer, wherever she wants to stay is her business and your business as well since you don't want to listen to your mom and I. I have given my word, don't let me speak twice."

My legs weaken as the Alpha said this, this is literally like me being sent away because I don't know where I'm going to stay apart from here but Gavin's dad is really serious here. His wife, Luna , follows after him with a smirk on her lips. My wolf folds up deep within me. My heart grows dull and I stand here holding Gavin's hands like an abandoned doll. The guards and Emma had all gone, the next set is the elders. I turn around and the Alpha makers are nowhere to be found. Right from the beginning, they had been the least concerned in what was happening, so they must have left a long time ago.

Achilles passes by, not sparing a look at us, he might have been recovering from the beatings. Inside of me, I pray Gavin wouldn't take up the anger to beat him again. I stand sideways blocking him, my heart glows a bit as he passes by without anything happening.

I await what Gavin would say next, he's the one to give the next verdict. "Do you know what will happen?" He asked me. "As my dad has said he doesn't want you, if you step foot on the estate grounds, coupled with incitement from my mom, he might put you up for an arrest, I'll take you to my estate. Come with me!"

"You have an estate?" I ask him, a bit relieved. I was wondering what I would do.

"It's not so far away, I'd been thinking of when to go live there, but since I'm the Alpha, supposed to live in the official residence which is here and with the way my brother is hungering for my position, I couldn't leave. Something important could take place while I'm away but right now I have no choice."

I inhale deeply, saddened that Alpha Gavin should take such a dangerous decision because of me, what if Achilles overthrew him, I don't trust his parents. Even with this, I look through his eyes and see the love he has for me. This sacrifice is as a result of love. I pull him into a tight hug.

"Hope you weren't hurt, hun?" I ask.

"No, I wasn't. I'm an Alpha, so I'm strong but I'm surprised how you were able to beat her up, she's a very great warrior." I knew what he was going to ask me. I laugh, then shrug my shoulders with pride.

"Well, even me I wasn't. I thought she was going to kill me, now I know I can stand up against anyone who challenges me." Gavin asks me to chill.

"That wouldn't have happened if Achilles didn't hold me to a fight. I promise you wouldn't have strained your energy." I blush, seeing how overprotective he still is even after seeing what I did to his secret wife. This puzzles me. I'm inclined to ask.

"Why do you Gavinue me so much more than your chosen mate? I mean she was your chosen mate because you chose to marry her."

"Stop that, Mia!" I glare in surprise.

"What did I do?"

"Mia, don't speak too much about Emma, the moon goddess requires me as the Alpha to marry my fated mate and not chosen mate. I don't know what my parents are thinking, the charming dad was talking about with you, I'll not be reluctant to say that Emma is even the one doing that, she's an elite force and these people engage in one thing or the other just to keep themselves safe from riGavins during war. "

"I couldn't believe my ears when your dad said that, it was the most I could bear." I smirk, shrugging my shoulders as I stare on the floor, thinking of what to do next. I'm caught in a difficult scenario. "Would you come stay with me at the estate?"

"Sure, but most especially at night, I have to run certain things around here, then from there I go to my office. I'm so sorry that I can't be with you all day."

"Where's your office?" This is my first time hearing him talk about working. "I thought you were a non-working Alpha?" "You get what I mean?"

"Yes I do, I was but I had to pick up with my office work, I'm a CEO." I nearly screamed, as I thought maybe he was probably talking of his office as Alpha.

"Which type of business do you run?"

"I own three companies which I'm making lots of billions of dollars from."

"Inherited from your parents?"

"No, I built it with my own money. I was exposed to wealth at an early age so I made good use of it to create one for my future."

"Does Achilles have what you have or close to?"

"No, that's why he is jealous of me. If my parents supported me to be who I am today, they should compensate him with the Alpha position but that hasn't happened before, the second born can not come up to be Alpha when the first is still alive. My parents are just deceiving themselves thinking that Achilles can step up to my position except they will divide the pack into two but even still, I'll be better than him in what I've got. "

No wonder Achilles is so jealous of Gavin, it's now I see the major reason behind his jealousy but for the fact that he supported me being the Luna when his dad and mom opted for Emma, I can't really despise him. I wouldn't ever despise persons that stand up for me during hard times.

I follow Gavin along the hallway, to a certain staircase which leads to a door rolled over from the top, I look down and it's another staircase. I want to be scared as everything looks creepy. Before getting in, I wait outside for about three minutes before deciding to go in.

"Don't be afraid, I wouldn't do you any harm."

"Hmm," I sigh. I suppress the fear in me and get inside here, wishing the moon goddess to protect me from whatever might happen that I didn't expect. The thought of serial killing in Gavin had escaped off my memory until this moment the condition down here forces me to remember it.
