Chapter 7 I stared at the girl who had just introduced herself as Tonia Dankworth, my eyes narrowing slightly as I tried to place her face. But I was certain I had never seen her before, and I was sure she wasn't part of our pack. She had a confident air about her, a sense of self-assurance that I couldn't help but admire. Tonia noticed my confusion and smiled, her eyes sparkling with amusement. "I'm a newly transferred student," she explained. "I just arrived yesterday, and I have to say, I'm not impressed with the welcome I've received so far." I raised an eyebrow, intrigued despite myself. "What do you mean?"
