Chapter : 4. First date..

Waking up the next morning, the first thing I felt was immense pain throughout my whole body and an awful headache. Next to me was sleeping little Liza with her soft snores, looking so beautiful. I try to get up from bed quietly, but it was nearly possible. But at last, I made it. It hurts so much. Reaching into my room, I sat on the bed and started sobbing uncontrollably. My dad keeps giving me bruises and ugly marks before the previous one heals. To hide the scars on my back and hands, I had to wear full sleeve dresses all the time.

Today I didn't get out of my room. Neither made breakfast nor eaten any. Sammy called me a few times to get information about my condition, and I told her I was alright. Near evening, I got another call from an unknown number. After thinking about it a moment, I finally picked up the call.

“Umm… Hello. Who's this?”

“Hey, it's me. Jake.”

“Jake? How did you get my number?”

“I asked Sammy for it, and she gave me it.”

“Oh, sorry. I should have guessed…”

“It's fine. So how are you feeling now? I was worried. She told me that you were feeling sick?”

“I'm Okay now. You don't have to worry.”

“Ok, if you say so. Uh… So, I was wondering you didn't give me an answer to my yesterday's question…”

“Oh, yeah. I mean yes.” Now I'm blushing red forgetting everything about last night.

“Yes? You mean you'll be my girlfriend?”

I nod in agreement, but then I remember that we were talking on the phone.

“Yes, I'll be your girlfriend.”

“Really! Cool. Uh… So, now you're my girlfriend, would you like to go on a date with me?”

“Okay, I can do that.”

“Good. Then I'll pick you up from your house tomorrow night at 8?”

“No…! Sorry, I mean, I have a deadline at 9. So I have to get back before then, and I'll meet you at Sammy's place…”

“Ok, as you wish. I'll see you tomorrow at 7 then. Bye.”

“Yeah, bye.”

I can't believe that I'm going on my very first date with my first boyfriend, and he is none other than the famous Jacobson Miller. My happiness has reached head over heels now.

The Next day, I did my chores as fast as possible and before going on the date, I already made dinner for everyone. My plan is to just heat it, before serving them. After everything was done, I showered and wear the nicest clothing I own. But that was also too baggy and old. I was feeling ashamed for not owning anything nice. Wearing a full sleeve pink shirt and blue jeans and making my hair in a side braid, I head out for my destination.

“You're wearing your glasses even on your date?” The first question Sammy asked as soon as she saw me.

“Yes. I feel better with them.” I reply to her.

“You're hopeless.”

I was waiting for Jake in her dining room. Her family was happy for us too. Jake came to take me at the right time.

“You should've dressed a little better you know!” Jake told me while we're getting into his black Mercedes. He first opened my side of the door to let me in, then he got into his driver's side like a gentleman.

“I… I'm sorry. This is the best dress I own. Sorry, I didn't mean to embarrass you.”

“Huh… I guess we need to go shopping sometime then. And I'm not at all embarrassed with you…”

“Really? Are you sure? We can stay here if you want to …”

“It's all Ok for me… Let's go, or we'll be late for our reservation.”

Currently, we are in a Thai restaurant, and I'm a hell ashamed of my choice of clothing compared to others. But Jake seems fine with everything. He even ordered for me because I don't know what to order. I like this side of him. Food was amazing here, I've never eaten this much tasty food before in my life.

“Kizie, I need to ask you something…”

“What is it, Jake?”

“I was thinking, Saturday I'm giving a little party to my friends for my birthday. I want you to be there with me, as my girlfriend.”

“Sorry, Jake. I'm not allowed to go to a party. I'm really sorry, I can't make it.”

“Please, please, Kizie. I don't want to be there without you. You won't leave me alone on my birthday, will you? In fact, Sammy's going to be there too. And I promise I will send you home before your curfew.” I can't believe he wants me there with him, this much. How can I decline his offer now? His blue eyes are looking at me so mesmerizing.

“Ok, I'll go. I can't deny this much pleading. Especially for your birthday.” I told him with a smile.

“Really? Thank you so much for agreeing. You really made me happy today. 'Yess'...” He fist-pumped himself and I started laughing at his childish behavior.

Today was one of my happiest days list. I never thought JAKE would be this sweet towards me. I think I'm falling in love with him. Did I finally found my happiness?

I am Jacobson Miller, one of the richest kids in New Jersey. I am kind of a playboy, don't like to spend more than a week hooking up with one girl. But my only crush is 'Samantha', my neighbor. I think I can manage to stay longer in a relationship with a sexy girl like her. But the problem is, she never falls for my charms. How many times I tried to convince her, but she never thought about me more than just a friend. Since I had no option to make her mine, I just try to admire her beauty by looking at her whenever she's around. But right now my mind is on something else. I'm going to turn 20 in a few days, so I am very excited about the party we're organizing. It's going to be fun.

I was sitting in our school canteen, with my friends discussing the number of our hook-up history. They were admiring my talent of picking up girls cause my score was higher than theirs. Suddenly one of my friends Alan started to say that there is one girl that even I can also never make fall for me.

“Dude, trust me, she is a hard b***h. She never even takes a peek at boy's…” he explains.

“Impossible! That kind of girl didn't even born who won't fall for my charms.” I tell him with pride.

“She turned me down, the captain of the football team! Girls die to be with me, and she just ignored me. Never even gave a second glance at me.”

“Who is that b***h? I'm sure I can trap her easily. No one can ignore this…” I told him pointing him my whole body.

“Ok then, there she is. Sitting on that table. The one with the glasses and ponytail.” He pointed me in a girl's direction.

She's the girl sitting with Sammy, looking hideous like every day. I've always seen her sticking with Sammy like some gum, and I've seen Sammy protect that weak s**t from everyone.

“Dude are you serious? That geek got your eyes, what was her name again? Bro, I think your standards are getting really low…”

“Her name is Kizie, Kizie Mayson. And for your information, she is the only virgin girl left in our school. Most of the guys, including me, are after her tight p***y…” he says with a large evil smile.

“Okay, it's a deal. I'll show you guys, that nothing is impossible for me.” I challenged them.

“Fine, it's a deal. Bring her to your party as your girlfriend, and we will be convinced.”

After school ends, I quickly go near their car to wait for her, and as usual, I see Sammy and her getting out together.

“What's this girls' problem? Why can't she ever leave her alone?” I'm frustrated now. I wanted to talk to her alone, but now I have to do it in front of Sammy.

As they're coming towards me, I was checking her out and wondering what will people think about me if they saw us together. She is looking awful with her pale white skin, those baggy hideous clothes, those big round ugly glasses, and top of that, a messy ponytail. What my friends got me into?

“Hey girls, how've been doing?” I think they didn't notice me before because they were looking shocked.

After convincing Sammy that I mean no harm to her friend, I finally got the chance to talk with her. It was really hard for me to ask her the question, but after taking a deep breath I was finally able to ask her.

“Kizie Mayson, will you be my girlfriend?”

After hearing that, she just zoned out. Looking at my face in full shock. Did I just paralyze her by giving her the shock of a proposal? It's not that impossible to be paralyzed for a girl like her if she gets a proposal from guys like us…
