IVY POV
I walked into the bedroom late one night and Asher was already in there. He had just stepped out of the bathroom with a towel around his waist and I sat on the bed to take my shoes off.
"Where have you been all afternoon?" He asked.
"What do you mean? I went to see a couple of those villages. I had meetings with the women there." I say.
"Oh yeah. That's what you say." He says.
"What the hell is that meant to mean?" I yell.
"I mean, I called those villages. I know that you weren't there. So where the hell were you? I was looking for you all afternoon and your mind link wasn't working. You've already been kidnapped once. Do you really want it to happen again?" Asher yelled at me.
"Screw you. What the hell are you accusing me of?" I asked as I stood up.
