They show up in their dusty station wagons, draggin’ sticky little kids to the shoreline to eat bologna sammiches and try and catch catfish if they can’t afford a boat, or it’s doctors and lawyers in short shorts sportin’ their pale, hairy legs with their spoiled spawn struttin’ down the dock to their slips. It’s sure hot enough to get out on the water, but not quite hot enough to stay in it for long.
