I watched as the tiny ship sailed away and I kept staying in the tower guarding the water. It was a moonless night which made the stars shine stronger. In the darkest hours is when one can shine the most. I kept wondering about these things Tyler told me about and I really wanted to experience them. I wanted a mother, a family, I wanted to be loved and to love. I felt happy when I remembered that Tyler told me he is coming back and he'll teach me what love is! I couldn't wait for the week to pass. I got lost in my thoughts so badly, that I didn't notice the danger until it was too late. Remy and those three idiots bigger versions came. Their fathers were a lot more cautious than the boys. They held me down and muffled my mouth so I couldn't scream. I tried my best to get them off of me but it was in vain. Remy's father just stood there and watched how the others hit, kicked and toyed with me. Our eyes met while these animals were torturing me with their lighters and cigarettes. I knew he was here because the mayor told him to keep an eye on the others. They didn't want me to die, but I wanted them to. I wanted to rip their arms off and break every finger that touched me. Unconsciously what Tyler told me this morning came to my mind and despite the situation I smiled. Remy's father shouted at them and they stopped. All four men stared at me with fear while I stood up. Blood was dripping everywhere and I became sad that my dress is ruined forever. I got irritated and ripped the collar off, without giving a second thought of the pain it will cause. My flesh burned and I ripped a good part of my skin along with the collar. I remembered how Tyler looked at it and with a wicked grin on my face I approached the man who was burning my inner thighs just a moment ago with his lighter. He tried to back off and Remy's father stood in front of him with a shocked gun.

- BACK OFF MONSTER! - he said and I laughed.

- Monster? - I asked and wiped off the blood from the corner of my mouth.

- YES! YOU ARE A MONSTER! DON'T COME CLOSER! - he pointed the shocker gun at me and shoot me with it. The electricity rushed all over my body but thanks to their f*****g torture and collars I somehow got immune slowly. I kept approaching them with the intention to put that collar on one of them. I wanted to hear them scream. I wanted to see the fear in their eyes.

- Why? Why don't you let me go? - I asked instead and felt my knees trembling. There was a world over the horizon that I didn't even know about. Filled with friends and families and love. With laughter and weird words that I wanted to understand.

- This is where you belong. - Remy's father said, but he wasn't screaming now.

- No! - I said and I saw an indescribable feeling in his eyes. I've never seen anything like that. Soon that feeling changed for the well known anger and hate.

- Yes. You have to pay for the lives you have taken! You are a monster and we are keeping others safe by keeping you here! - he shouted and a lightning hit the rocks behind me. They jumped as the wind started to blow stronger and the waves of the ocean grew higher.

- I've already paid for those lives. - I said slowly and kept approaching the four men.

- STAY PUT!

- Let me go!

- STAY PUT! - he shouted and grabbed a real gun from the side of his belt.

- LET ME GO! - I shouted and they had to cover their ears. That's when I heard a sound I thought I forgot. The sound of a gun and felt a warm feeling in my shoulder. I looked at the wound and watched calmly how my blood slowly dripped out of the wound.

- The next one will be you heart monster! He screamed trying to sound more terrifying than the storm. I've jumped on the railing and opened my arms.

- Do it! - I shouted and my laughter mixed with the sound of the thunders.

- WHAT ARE YOU DOING? - he asked and I just couldn't stop laughing. He is trying to threaten me with death. They are trying to hurt me and keep me here. But killing me is okay? To be honest... This was my wildest bluff. For the first time I wanted to live. I wanted to see Tyler, meet Jake and all those people he told me about.

- KILL ME IF YOU WANT! AT LEAST I'LL BE FREE! - I screamed but instead of the shoot, they left me there without another word. I jumped off and ran after them.

- COWARDS! - I shouted and the guy who kicked me took the gun from Remy's father. But before he could shoot me, Remy's dad hit the gun out of his hand.

- Are you crazy?! Do you want to kill us all?! - he asked and I tilted my head.

- What are you talking about? - I asked and realized this was my longest conversation with anyone from this island since I was abandoned here.

-NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS MONSTER! - He shouted and they left me alone in the tower. The door closed and I fell on my knees. My wound healed and the bullet fall out of it rolling away on the cold stone floor. I watched it rolling under the kitchen counter and stood up sighing. My dress was ruined and I had to clean the tower again.

- Seriously... - I pouted and noticed that the storm calmed down. I walked to the bathroom for the mop and some clean water. Watched at the stairs and with a still aching body I climbed back up to clean up after them. I won't get any food for a few days now. Since they couldn't hurt me enough and I didn't obey, now it's time to starve. I thought and cleaned my own blood. I took my dress off and threw it into the fire. I went down and took a warm shower thinking about how I'll survive till Tyler comes again. For the thought of him coming back a smile spread on my face and the fear got washed away with the water. I'm not alone anymore...
