the dragon princess and her mates

There was once a very long time ago a family who wanted the throne for themselves and tried everything in their power to take it, but nothing worked, and they failed. But they swore that one day they will succeed. The only thing they didn’t know was that the throne can’t just be taken by violence, nor can it be taken by killing the king. The king and his dragon must recognize and accept the person as the next king and that won’t happen if his dragon senses evil from the persons heart. Only someone with a kind and pure heart can become king or it will pass down to his children. And if the king doesn’t have a son, then the eldest daughters mate gets the title as king after she and her dragon has accepted him and finished the mating ceremony. When the human and their dragon has recognized their mate and accepts them with all their heart then they will sing a song that has been passed down from generation to generation and when they sing this song, they sing it all the down from their heart and soul they do this to show their mate that they are ready for the next step. But while they sing to their mate, they also let out their scent and mark their mate with their scent so that other females know to stay away, and that this person is taken. Then the mate will do the same to the female to ward of other males or females. They do this until the song is finished and after the female has finished her song then they will walk away to somewhere private to finish their bond and mark each other. The dragon king doesn’t only rule over the dragons but other creatures too. Like in a werewolf pack there is the alpha and luna and other people that has high ranking jobs but here they have Lords or chiefs that rules over different territories where other beings live so those that doesn’t live with the dragons or can’t live with their dragons and lives in different territories that belongs to the dragons have lords or chiefs that rules over them and report everything to the king. There are beings like the shadow creatures that can’t live in the kingdom with the dragons because they live in a place where its always dark and they also live in the shadows and are very strong and great warriors to have they are also his secret elite group. Blaze, who is a hybrid, is the next in line to be their Chief or lord. Then we also have those night creatures that only lives in the darkness is also strong and very good for spying which is their specialty because no one knows they exist except the dragons. Adrian Tepes is a very strong dragon, and he is also the lord/chief of all night creatures except those who are in another territory. He and Blaze has never met each other since they graduated school, but their territories are not far from each other. Blaze is also the vampire king due to his mother being the queen. He is a hybrid- dragon, vampire. Because of that he is very strong. He is yet to find his mate and so is Adrian. Scarlett finds out that she has a relative who hasn’t shifted to her dragon or gotten her dragon powers. END OF PROLOGUE.
