They’re selling like hotcakes.” “And the bacon mac and cheese donuts are almost gone. We need more of them.” Kevin calmly nodded at his employees before heading back to the kitchen. He had to work fast to replenish the stock because the day was turning into one of those hectic ones. It didn’t happen often. Probably four or five times per month. Kevin didn’t mind, though. More customers meant more money for the business. No sane person in his or her right mind would reject the opportunity to earn more money. Cost of living in Boston was expensive. Scratch that. Cost of living was expensive everywhere.
