Chapter 16Kate awoke with a start early the next morning, startled from sleep by a neighbouring cockerel. She climbed out of bed to use the bathroom, marvelling at the views from the bedroom window as the early morning sun struggled to clear a low lying mist.
Returning to the bed she slid over to where Lex was sprawled on her back and cuddled into her side, loving the feeling of her warm, firm body and soft skin.
She tried to go back to sleep but she found Lex’s naked from too much of a temptation and couldn’t stop her hands wandering gently over her sleeping form.
