Unwanted Enemy Alpha

New Rules

Bella... wake up. We are going to be late.

"Go away Mia. I just need some more time."

"No... Wake up you sleepyhead. We have a pack meeting in ten minutes," she said yelling.

"What pack meeting ? No one told me anything I said going down under covers once again," I said still feeling sleepy. I am not an early bird. I stay awake at night more. Night is the time I love and we wolves have a connection to the moon and the night. Night feels special and we can be ourselves when everyone else sleeps.

"It's an emergency meeting. Everyone was mind linked. You were sleeping.." she was saying when my mind started processing her words and I suddenly sat on the bed stopping her mid sentence. I was on alert and her mouth was left hanging open.

"What! What happened I asked my friend sitting straight up on bed," I was hell worried about my pack and what kind of situation happened that the Alpha, my dad had to mind link every one this early in the morning. Our pack is one of the safest and one of the strongest pack in the whole world but things happen and you don't know what will happen the next moment, specially when you are a wolf." You have be alert even when you are asleep," that is something my great grandfather used to say and we follow it till now. No matter how strong you are, you must be alert and aware of your surroundings. Danger could be anywhere.

"I don't know. It's an emergency we all were mind linked by the Beta Jacob," said Mia.

" I didn't wait further for any interrogation, I mind linked my father Alpha David asking him about the matter.."

"Something important came to our notice and we are on it everyone will be told in the pack meeting. Come to the meeting soon.... I gotta go... " he said as fast as could and ended the mindlink.

The matter must be serious because he never shut me of so soon. He always wishes me good morning and hear me snap about waking up early for my training.

"Did he told you?" asked Mia.

"No. He seemed in a hurry must be important,"

"Let's go," I said in a hurried motion carrying myself to the washroom, getting ready for the meeting. I can't go in my sweats.

Everyone one arrived for the pack meeting including my brother Jake.

He's going to be an Alpha soon, he will takeover after my dad retires and that is when he turns 18 years and which is soon. He will be an Alpha within a few months. I am his twin that means soon I will also turn 18 and we will be able to find our mates.

Mates... Uh-huh... it a discussion for some other time. Right now I don't need any mate.

I tried asking him through the mind link but he was also unaware of the reason behind.

Just in time my dad Alpha David along with beta Jacob and their third in command arrived.

"There has been an emergency as we have found some rogues very close to our pack borders. Arrangements have been made regarding the patrolling duties and extra warriors and guards are allocated on high alert because these are some vicious group of rogues that had been hanging up on smaller packs and destroying them. We are one of the strongest packs and we want you all to take precautionary measures."

We also have an announcement to make for all the students going school and college. The place of our schools and college are close to the boundaries of our pack and other packs, while connecting to the forest. You all are at a risk, maybe not to big as we are predicting but we don't want to underestimate the danger. Children and young wolves are easy target for rogues and hence, we are taking this step.

The Alpha of our neighbouring pack has also agreed to this and we think it is the best solution for now. I know you all will not like it but we have to as a precaution, your college will be closed for some time. It may take a year or more until the matter is sorted out. You all will be going to regular school and college with other humans in a neutral ground. There will be wolves from other packs also, but most importantly there will be humans and you all will have to be careful. Younger kids will be homeschooled because they won't be able to control when they will start their shifting phase and would require guidance. But all the kids in highschool and above will be able to continue their school without any issue. Transfers and other formalities will be done soon.

"Noo.... came the collective voice of the young wolves and other teen wolves. The school and college that we all go near the border is the one made for our kind. We were free there to practice sword and fight changing into our wolf forms. We were ourselves without being have to be pretend someone else."

The chaos surrounded us soon and we couldn't help but be a part of it. We liked our college and it was a good place for us to gain fighting skills and learning our legacy. It helped us grow into the creatures that we were. Not only it would mean that we have to hide ourselves but pretend to be someone that we our not. We wolves easily loose control and get into trouble but with humans we have to control our anger. We couldn't let our secret get out. It would turn bad, no it would be the worst and it will get nasty.

I am not someone who doesn't like humans. They are fine but they fight for petty things. They take for granted the things that we have to fight for and even sacrifice for.

Everything will be new and there will be new rules, according to the humans. I hate it already. I don't like to follow rules, uh change that I never follow rules.
