Mary didn't speak to them for the entire car ride and just quietly sobbed into her hands. Faith tried to touch her hair, but she snapped and turned away. Faith decided to deal with her later. She couldn't imagine why Anthony would go this far for her. It wasn't his problem to deal with. Faith should've acted stronger and be more assertive to Mary. She felt embarrassed for getting help from him, though she was very grateful. Mary got out of the car as soon as they arrived home then stormed inside the house. Faith sighed. This girl wasn't making things easier for her. She turned her attention to Anthony, who was just sitting there observing her. "Thank you for helping me, sir. I couldn't have done it alone," she said quietly. "I told you to call me Anthony from now on," he said gruffly.
