"What the f**k is going on here?" Anthony glared at the man who clearly did something to Faith. Faith stood there, frozen. She didn't know what to do or what to say. She felt weak and powerless.
"I was just leaving. You must be her Fiancé," Marcus smirked. "I'm Marcus."
"Care to explain what's happening here, Marcus?" Anthony asked. His tone was relatively civil in spite of his anger.
Marcus didn't answer his question. "I'm not trying to steal your fiancée, don't worry," he said, instead.
"Oh, I am not worried. But if you touched Faith, I promise you it won't end well for you," Anthony's voice grated harshly.
"Take it easy, man. Maybe you should let her explain. I'm leaving," Marcus said and walked out of the house. Faith heard the engine start then his car drove away.
