I look around the room, where everybody has gathered. There are a lot of Dons, not only from the United States but also from other countries. They are all here because they think I will become the Godfather of America, but it will not happen. I know my grandfather, and I have decided it will not be in the best interest of our family as I will be taking over from him one day. Eric will take over from me. Now that Marissa knows that I know he is her mother, I am unwilling to let him go without me. I wonder what she thinks and will think of the idea of Eric becoming the Italian Godfather.
