I tucked the card into a pocket on my backpack and headed to the cafeteria. In my haste this morning I had skipped breakfast. Inside, I grabbed a protein shake from the vending machine and drank it down in mere seconds. Through the cafeteria windows, Kento and Reed were talking on the lawn a few feet away. I tossed the empty shake bottle into the trashcan, then dashed outside to join them. "Hey, what's up?" I asked. "Did you find the guy that was following me?" Kento inclined his head. "I tracked him to see what he was up to. He seems shady, but I can't say that he's evil." I glanced between him and Reed. "You're kidding, right?" "He said he was out for a walk, like you." Reed shrugged. "Then why did he duck behind a tree when I spotted him? Or what about the surge of magic I felt?"
