"She's waking up," Jasper's voice echoed in my ears. I smiled, then groaned, cause even that small movement hurt like hell. But I wanted to see him. Touch him. Ensure myself that he was whole and well, that they all were. So I forced my eyes open a crack. Jasper stood over me, Kento beside him. Kento had a cast on his arm and I gasped. "It's okay," he touched my hand gently, "I'll have my sword arm back in no time, you'll see." "Magic?" I croaked out. Why hadn't he healed it using a spell? He looked at Jasper, then back at me. "Our magic is crippled right now. Don't worry, it's coming back slowly, but there's people who were in the fight that are worse off than me. I can wait a few months for my arm to heal naturally." Where was Reed? I couldn't turn my neck and gestured to Jasper.
