"Tarot isn't for everyone," Megan said, and I wondered how pale I looked for her to be nice to me. "But it's accurate. I mean I drew the exact same cards...twice." The teacher came over to our table. "What's wrong?" "It's the same cards." I blinked back tears. "Look at my future card." "Remember," he crossed his arms behind his back. "It's not set in stone. The future is ever-changing, flexible."
