The next afternoon when Lucas woke he found himself alone in his parents’ bed. He was still dressed for the night before. He couldn’t remember how he got home. Lucas got up and took a shower. He brushed the stale taste out of his mouth and dressed for the day. As nice as it was to be home Lucas wanted to get back to California. With his new contact information, he wanted to get the deal done and hopefully move things along. Pulling on his t-shirt, Lucas looked at himself in the bedroom mirror.
