Maxine stepped off the jet and into the sun. She knew the Sanchez had money, but she hadn’t known they owned a jet, apparently three. When Carlos had told her, she was going to New York to babysit Lucas while he was away on business she had been excited. It meant they were going alone. There was no way Morris and Owen could tail a jet. It was a big leap of faith for Carlos.
