Chapter 12
Anna’s POV:
A few days after my eighteenth birthday, my heat came on. Going into heat so quickly after getting her wolf was unusual, but Ben and I had been strengthening our connection for a week. Ben was sure of it, and I certainly felt a potent attraction already.
Fortunately, the heat only lasted three days and, not like most high-ranked wolves, about five days. That was five days ago, and I was extremely nauseous this morning and all the smells in the kitchen were too much. It was for that reason that I was now on the toilet to do a pregnancy test. According to the packaging, I had to pee on it and then wait for two minutes. After that, it would show on the indicator whether I was pregnant.
