Right after that, a blunt confession from Aurora's position made Tommy sweat. He didn't even know what she was saying to him, but he thought the more attention he got, the easier it was to win her affection.
Aurora saw Tommy's bewildered appearance and didn't know how to behave, so she ended the work session quickly so that he could take the time to return to class to start the first class.
Before leaving, Tommy bowed his head to say goodbye to Aurora highly respectfully, surprising her.
Aurora thought, “Maybe… that kid isn't that bad, is he?”
Aurora's class the next day becomes extraordinarily awkward and uncomfortable as Jake always stares at Aurora with eyes full of passion and she thinks he is perverted.
Aurora confided this story to Helena Kinghams during recess. Helena Kinghams immediately reacted exceptionally seriously.
She is much more sensitive than Aurora and advises against having a relationship with Jake. This caused Aurora to fluctuate.
She smiled melancholy and sat in the teacher's room, only to be caught by the Vice Principal. The teacher asked her what had happened. Aurora, of course, dared not tell this story to her teacher.
She could only hint that in the class she was in charge of, there was a relatively particular student she did not know how to handle. Thane smiled kindly, which was very different from the fierce look when suppressing other students.
The teacher spoke honestly to let Aurora understand his thoughts: "There are no bad students, only bad teachers. Ms. Aurora, you should open up to that student. Motivate him to go beyond those circumstances and learn. That's our inspirational mission ."
Aurora thanked the Vice Principal.
After school, Aurora kept Tommy in the teacher's room to teach. How could an innocent female trainee teacher like her understand the danger in a relationship like this? Aurora boldly pointed out how the anomaly in Tommy’s eyes annoyed her.
She suggested that he change this attitude towards her. In response, Tommy agreed, saying he would try to make Aurora more comfortable. His words made her blush.
Aurora, while thinking clearly, accidentally planted a word in Jake's heart that made him remember forever: "She just likes obedient, hard-working, and good students."
Tommy heard that and thought Aurora was giving him an excellent opportunity to approach her. Over the next few days, Tommy became unusual in the eyes of family and friends.
He began to 'hardly' study, even Literature, which he detested became the most beautiful thing because Aurora was in charge of teaching.
Tommy never missed any of her classes. However, most of the time, Tommy has to deal with the chronic sleepiness the subject brings, but just seeing Aurora's face makes everything brighter.
Nicolas Finn discovered Tommy’s monstrous attitude, and he teased him repeatedly. Lana and Mr. Joseph watches Tommy daily when he notices his dramatic change.
That afternoon, Mr. Joseph pulled Jake out of the digital network infrastructure construction site owned by Thunder Electronics Corporation. Looking at Tommy, utterly different from before, he also had a strange curiosity in his heart.
He asked him: "Don't hide from me anymore. Why are you studying so hard these days? What's the plan? Want to buy a car?"
Tommy grinned, shaking his head wildly. He said in a cheerful voice: "Someone wants me to do well in school. I want to prove to him that I can do it. Dad, let's see how your son will change. Come on!"
Mr. Joseph was surprised to hear Tommy say he wanted to prove himself to someone else. He smiled at his son, who was eighteen years old but had just fallen in love for the first time.
Perhaps parents with children about to graduate high school will be very upset about the emotional relationships that arise in school, but Mr. Joseph is different.
As long as he had a reason for Tommy to go to school, he was satisfied. The love story of his children has never been interfered with so far.
Mr. Joseph and Tommy walked home when he saw Helena Kinghams. He shouted and hurriedly ran over to greet him in a friendly manner: "Miss, are you not going with Miss Aurora today?"
Helena Kinghams looked at Tommy and smiled softly, gently pushing her hair aside because of the sea breeze: “All day long, I can only find Miss Aurora. She went to the market. Is there anything I can do to find her?"
Tommy grinned and ran away. Helena Kinghams saw Mr. Joseph and bowed her head, and left. Mr. Joseph very keenly caught Tommy's look, laughed, and patted his head, reminding him that no matter who you like, you should remember to study well.
He was a little disgruntled and protested: "How is love related to study?"
Mr. Joseph tapped Tommy on the head because the question was not subjective. He explained to him: “You are too young to understand. Romance is not just based on feelings.”
Tommy was surprised, trying to explain himself to Mr. Joseph's statement, but his eyes kept staring at the tree-lined road in front of him, making him unable to ask any more questions.
Mr. Joseph returned home, and Tommy turned into a nearby internet shop when he noticed Nicolas Finn's bike in the yard. The two met when Nicolas Finn was trying to type slowly on the keyboard to write an outline for English Literature. Tommy was quite surprised because his friend would never sit still and do these things.
He was just about to scoff when Nicolas Finn interrupted: “I'm working on an outline for Miss Helena Kinghams. If you're smart, stay away."
“You took Miss Aurora's class and wrote the outline for Helena Kinghams. This traitor!” Tommy glared at Nicolas Finn, but he didn't care what he said.
Surprised for a moment, Tommy realized the unusualness of Nicolas Finn: “Hey!!! Don't tell me you like Miss Helena Kinghams!"
Nicolas Finn jumped to his feet, covered Tommy's mouth, and continued cursing despite the displeasure of the rest of the internet shop. Nearly an hour later, Nicolas Finn completed the entire outline of English Literature and carefully printed two volumes.
Tommy didn't hesitate to grab a book to see something completely different from what Aurora had taught in class. He sighed as he looked at Nicolas Finn and asked quickly: “Why do you say this belongs to Miss Helena Kinghams? I don't see any difference with Miss Aurora."
Nicolas Finn waved his hand and told Tommy not to worry about this. He quickly walked home, leaving Tommy in the middle of the leafy green road.
The next day, when he went to school, during his English Literature class, Aurora was no longer as cheerful and bustling as the first days. He felt extraordinary seeing her look so lifeless.
At recess that day, Aurora and Helena Kinghams were invited to the teacher's room to meet with the Literature team. Tommy stealthily followed and eventually discovered that the Head Teacher scolded Aurora for daring to 'copy' Helena Kinghams' lecture.
However, she did not protest nor explain at all. And Helena Kinghams stood apologizing continuously, hoping the head teacher would calm down.
More than twenty minutes passed before the teacher was able to stop. She blamed Aurora for her lack of work ethic, while she praised Helena Kinghams for being thoughtful. Tommy was distraught in his heart when he saw Aurora being blamed like that. He didn't believe it either.
Finally, suddenly remembering the outline of English Literature that Nicolas Finn had prepared yesterday, he immediately ran to class, dumping all of Nicolas Finn's notebooks on the ground.
He quickly found the outline he had written yesterday. But when Tommy ran down to the staff room, Aurora and Helena Kinghams were gone, leaving only the Head Teacher.
He dared to stand in front of her, her face when she saw him was not happy at all: “What is this? Did you come to see me and have something to say?"
“Miss… I have something I want with you. This is something I picked up yesterday in my class.” Tommy showed the outline to the Head Teacher, but contrary to his thoughts, her expression did not change.
After going through it once, she returned the outline to Tommy with the half-cold, half-sarcastic statement: “What did you give me this for? Do you want to make things so noisy that even Miss Aurora gets involved?”
The head teacher looked at Tommy's face and guessed how things were going. She was a person who had lived enough to understand the tricks here, so she was always a cautious person. The head teacher pretends not to care about Jake, telling him to return to class to prepare for school.
