You Intoxicate me

Chapter 11

-Crimson P.O.V.-

I quickly turn around as Charles has let go of my hand to see a handsome man walking towards me. He is about 2 heads taller than me with a nice body as I can see his muscles bulging from his dark green silk short sleeve button up shirt that he is wearing. My gaze just continues up as I can see he has a nice full beard that is a lovely shade of dark brown. His eyes are a stunning green color that pierced right through me. Once he was right before me, I craned my head up to see him looking down at me as his brown curls fell down just the middle of his forehead. He quickly wrapped an arm around my waist pulling me flush against his chest. I went to speak, but someone beat me to it.

“Brother. Keep it together.” I hear Luke’s voice from behind me. Hmm, so this is Ambrose. I must say I wish I would have taken the time to meet him sooner as he is a handsome man who also happens to be my mate.

Ambrose snaps his gaze from me to his brother. “Ambrose.” I whisper out causing him to snap his gaze back to me. I smile at him. “We finally meet.”

Ambrose raises his hand up to cup my cheek and I gasp from the amount of sparks that shoot through my skin. “Hello, Crimson.” He whispers out, as his deep voice almost brings me to my knees.

“Crimson!” I hear someone shout my name causing me to turn my head. My eyes soon fall onto Jake.

“Hello Brother.” I say with a smile. I don’t miss the confused look on his face that was mixed with worry as he stared at me. I sigh before turning my attention back to my mate. “Give me a minute to go and hug my brother. But don’t worry, I will come back to you.” This causes my mate to smile before he lets go of me. I walk over to my brother and bring him into a hug.

“What is going on?” Jake whispers in my ear.

I pull back from the hug while bringing my hands to rest on his arms. “Ambrose is my mate.” I say with a smile.

“Holy s*it!” Seth says, causing me to look over at him while chuckling.

“What?” I ask him while chuckling while also backing up slowly until I was out of my brother’s hold. Not a second after I stepped back, Ambrose was behind me as he wrapped an arm around my waist bringing my back to his front.

Seth wraps an arm around Jake with a smile. “I didn’t think we would be getting a bada** Luna. I mean you are the definition of bada**.”

I smile. “I don’t know about all that…” I trail off just when Mack cuts in.

“Yes you are.” I look over at him with a smile which he returns while Tom is also smiling. I could feel happiness flowing off of them which made me smile even bigger.

“Hey, I am Tom and this is Mack. I’m sure you already know who we are.” Tom says to Ambrose with a chuckle at the end.

Ambrose chuckled which I could feel as the laugh vibrated his chest. “Yes, I know who you two are and I am glad to put a face with the names.”

“Well, heyy.” Luke cuts in.

I laugh while walking out of Ambrose’s hold and give Luke a hug. “How are you?” I ask him while turning my attention to his beautiful mate. I go to hug her and she makes sure to hug me with a squeeze. Once we pull apart, I look at her with a smile. “How are you, babe?” I ask her.

“I am doing good but your godchildren are driving me up the wall.” She says while laughing.

I chuckle too. “I bet they are.” I say before bending down and hugging Charles along with his sister and brother. I kiss all of them on the forehead before standing back up, only to feel Ambrose wrap his arm back around my waist.

“Be careful as my brother is going to be by your side all night.” Luke warns before turning his attention to some of the pack members and other guests.

I turned my head upwards and smiled. “I must say that sounds wonderful.” This causes my mate to smile before leaning down and placing a kiss on the top of my head. I swear he is going to make me melt.

Once that was all out of the way, I made my way over to Lisa and Roger with Ambrose right by my side. I said a quick ‘hello’ to Lisa and Roger who were so happy to find out that I was their son's mate.

“We have always seen you as our daughter and now you are actually going to become that.” Lisa said with tears in her eyes.

“We do love you, Crimson.” Roger says, causing me to choke up. I quickly gave the both of them hugs before Ambrose led me over to where he was sitting. He made sure to have a place beside him for me. I just smiled while shaking my head at watching him tell someone to get another chair. Once we walked over to his table, he pulled out my chair and I sat down while making sure to smile at him to which he returned. I then looked around to see Mack and Tom sitting over with Roger and Lisa while Jake and Seth were walking over to our table. I smiled at them before turning my attention back to my mate.

He sat down and scooted his chair closer to mine as he placed an arm on the back of my chair. I looked at his arm and looked at him with a smile while also shaking my head.

“What?” He asks with a smile.

“Are you always going to feel the need to touch any part of my skin?” I ask him.

I watched as he leaned forward until his face was right by my ear. “If you don’t mind then I would like to always be touching you.” He slowly pulls his face away but stops when his nose is almost touching mine.

I lean forward and slowly brush my lips against his, causing him to groan as I pull back a bit. “I don’t mind at all.”

“I want to kiss you right so bad right now, but if I do then I will not be able to stop myself. I am trying so hard to hold back my wolf.”

“Hmm.” I hum as I slowly sit back until my back is against my chair. Ambrose stares at me for a second before he relaxes and sits back in his chair as well.

“Guys would you please keep it in your pants for tonight. There are kids present.” Seth says once he reaches the table.

I chuckle while I hear Ambrose just sigh beside me. “We will try to behave, but make no promises.” I say to Seth with an evil grin on my face.

“Please sister...I cannot bear to see you..” I cut Jake off by holding my hand up.

“Do not worry, brother. Okay?” I say to him with a knowing look. He catches on and nods while snuggling into Seth’s embrace. I smile at the both of them as I am so happy that my brother found someone who will always treat me how he should be.

--One Hour Later…

The event is underway as everyone is eating while some are dancing, and others are just enjoying each other's company. I was currently sitting with Jake, Seth, Mack, and Tom while my mate was off speaking with some of Luke’s guests. He didn’t want to leave my side, but Roger insisted that he meet these certain guests as they were important. I was a little down when he left my side, but I quickly turned my attention to my family who always cheered me up. We were currently all laughing as Mack and Jake were trying to embarrass each other with childhood stories.

“You soooo did that!” Mack says.

Jake rolls his eyes. “I did not!” Jake counters back.

Seth was just laughing at the both of them while Tom was just enjoying his drink. I decided to go and get another drink so I stood up making Seth stand up too. I looked at him with a raised eyebrow.

“Ambrose told me to not leave you alone.” Seth says sheepishly.

I rolled my eyes. “I am fine. I am just going to get another drink and don’t worry, you will be able to see me from where you are sitting. Okay?” I say back.

Seth just nodded and sat back down. I smiled at him before making my way around the table and towards the drink bar that was set up. I walked right up to an empty spot at the table and smiled at the woman behind the table.

“Hello, can I get a Mike's Hard please.” I ask the woman.

She looks at me wide-eyed. “Uhm...what kind?” She asks with a nervous tone.

“Honestly, any kind. The first one you grab.” I say to her with a smile which seems to calm her down.

She soon walks off to go and get me my drink just when a man comes up beside me. I don’t pay him any attention as I just wait for the woman to get back. One of the workers walks over to the man and takes his order.

“Uhm, yes I would like an apple ale and whatever this woman wants beside me.” That catches my attention.

I look at the worker and smile. “Someone is already getting me a drink so just get his.” The worker just nods and walks off to get this man's drink.

I still keep looking forward as I want nothing to do with this guy, but I guess he cannot take the hint. Because he turns to face me and speaks.

“Hi, I am Greg. And you are?” He tries to sound sexy or manly but I am not buying any of it.

I sigh and roll my eyes before turning to face him. “I am Crimson. What do you want?” I ask in a bored tone.

“Just trying to talk to a pretty lady.” He says with a smile.

I cringe. “Well this lady doesn’t want to talk to you, okay?”

“Oh come on, baby.”

That makes me snap. “Don’t ever call me baby again. I am not your f**king baby as I am Ambrose Eclipse’s mate, so back the f**k off.” I say with venom in my voice as he has pissed me off.

“I don’t see a mark on your neck.” He counters.

Just as I am about to slap him across the face, I feel a hand wrap around my waist. I soon feel sparks shoot all over my skin as my mates fingers brush my skin. I sigh in relief as I lean back into his embrace.

“Is there a problem here?” Ambrose asks in a deep voice that could intimidate any man while it caused me to shiver with lu*t. Gah, his voice just makes me want to jump him.

The man looks at Ambrose with wide-eyes that were filled with fear and quickly shakes his head no. Before anyone could say anything else, he just takes off without his drink as he knows how possessive Alphas are over their mates.
