POV | Ace

The movie was nearing Its end, Aliah and Kane were both watching intently. I shook my head at the childishness of Kane as he reacted alongside Aliah, them both gasping as the scene grew intense. My mind however kept drifting to my Father and Col, running my hand along her side she cuddled into me while I pondered on the things they were discussing... I'd f*cked up... I can't believe I'd lost control like that and hurt my angel. Glancing down to her neck I tensed seeing the very evident marks of my teeth where they had begun to pierce her skin.

Feeling my gaze she looked up to me with a smile, bringing a sense of ease from the guilt that was consuming me. I returned the smile only to feeling Father trying to link with me... 'Here now.'... as my vision returned I reached down lifting my angels hand to my lips, placing a soft kiss on her knuckles I spoke "I have to go for a sec okay sweetheart" Giving me nod I swear I saw blush creep over her cheeks, distracted I continued to stare to which Kane tapped my shoulder "Go on I got her" I nodded in thanks as I stepped from the bed and leaving the room. 

Making my way into my father's office the feeling of guilt began to rise upon seeing their faces, Col looked to me apologetically as he sat across from father at his desk. Walking over a took the spot beside him, father leaned forward resting his elbows on the wood with a sigh "Tell me what happened" Swallowing the lump in my throat I clenched my Jaw, the memories flashing through my mind bringing me anger "She was so close to me... her scent was overwhelming. I was fine... until I remembered she had to leave, I lost it and pulled her close... I wanted to mark her, I knew I shouldn't but..." I thought back to the moment my teeth grazed her skin, she showed no fear...my angel trusted me in such a vulnerable moment despite having no understanding "But what Ace?" Father spoke calmly, pulling me from my thoughts, I looked up to him, a small smile pulling at my lips"...she didn't pull away, s-she could feel it... she had to.." 

"Is this true?" Father questioned Col wo which he nodded "Yes Alpha, Kane and I had to pull them apart. She was just as much clung to him as he was to her" He lifted his finger to chin, nodding in thought. "Her neck, the markings are still evident I presume as you drew blood?" I grimaced thinking that I made my angel bleed, responding with a father sighed "We have to choice but to tell Alpha Stone of this" 

"I know.." I nodded, it was the last thing I wanted but as her father he did have a right to know. It wasn't like I could keep her hidden with me until the marks were no longer visible.. as much as that idea brought me joy it wasn't realistic. The room fell silent while father continued to look at me deep in thought, I glanced at Col who looked equally confused "What is it Father?" He looked to me with concern "There's one more thought that's worrying me" 

"What?" I asked, the worry now settling in myself "How deep and how long were your teeth sunk into her skin..." Thinking back I shook my head "No more than 10 seconds, why father?" He sighed balling his hands into fists, his tone serious as he spoke "You may not have marked her, but your venom may have very well entered her system..." A chill ran down my spine at his words, I felt Col shift in seat looking at me with wide eyes... My bite, my venom... the thing that was one day going to connect us might be flowing through her system. Xerxes stirred with excitement in me at the thought of a part of us being with her, I shook my head calming myself due to the seriousness of the situation. Clenching my hands on the sides of my chair I asked not really wanting to know "What will that do to her?... to me?"

Father shook his head "That's what worries me, we have no way of knowing without..." A growl escaped me at the suggestion he was about to make, my nails grew digging into the wood of the chair as I spat with anger "We aren't taking her back the Elders. I refuse" Father looked at me with anger telling me to calm the f*ck down, taking a breath I relaxed back into my chair "Then we wait and see" He spoke making the decision final, a wave of relief rolled over me knowing my angel didn't have to go back to that dark place. My head reeled with all the possible side effects of my venom coursing through her small body, I smiled feeling a sense of joy wash over me... I shook my head, the feeling was faint but evident. A look of confusion must have washed over my face as Col reached over shaking me "Dude what's wrong.." 

I looked to Col then father who was pulling out his phone to call Stone "Father, our emotions? They get tied with the bond, so you can feel them right?" Looking up from his phone he nodded to me, upon his response I stood from my chair making my way back to my angel. Col and Father followed behind me as I opened the door to my room, my angel was laughing on my bed watching videos with Kane. Her eyes shot up connecting with mine as she sensed my presence, gripping the handle to my door tightly in my hand I spoke, directing my words to Father while keeping my eyes locked with hers "I can feel them... it's faint but I can feel it..." Patting me on the back Father spoke before walking away "Hopefully this is the extent of the effects your venom will have" 

I sighed knowing he was right, though I wish it had more for now I guess I could settle with knowing how my angel was feeling. Stepping closer I smiled down at her as she giggled, my heart ached for my little beauty, her hair, her smile, her laugh... all of her was beautiful and I couldn't wait for it to be mine. Gasping She turned her attention from the video raising her hand to her chest, she turned to me concerned "Are you having a heart attack?" Crawling across the bed she jumped up pressing her hands to my chest, Kane looked on confused while Col laughed. Reaching up I placed my hands over hers with a smile "No angel, I'm just very happy to see you" We looked on at one another as our feelings synced up, I enjoyed the moment of being one with my mate... even if it was only a sliver it was enough to make me appreciate the small bond I had accidently created. 

It wasn't long before I was holding my angel in my arms, us seated in the common room as she clung to me. Father had called Stone and informed him that Aliah had wandered here through the night, we had yet to tell him about the marks on her neck and the accidental bond I had created between myself and his daughter. Though we washed her neck free from any blood the small puncture wounds were still evident, not only that but you could smell the injury if close enough. Once father informed Aliah that Stone was coming I felt the shift in her emotions, a panicked state had set in which caused me to hold her close to me. She calmed at my touch but I could still feel the worry sitting heavy within her, 30 minutes had passed and I refused to let her go. Father called for Hunter to be present during Stones visit alongside myself, Kane and Col "Ace I'm going to need you to relax" He spoke, it coming out more of a demand making me grip my angel tighter to me "I'll calm myself once she's calm" I growled back causing his anger to grow, his scent consuming the room as he glared at me. 

Pulling away from my arms Aliah looked down at me "Say Sorry" Furrowing my brows I glanced up confused "What?" She crossed her arms at me "Say sorry to Alpha Black, you got grumpy because he was telling you what to do. When really you should be listening" My mouth dropped open not knowing what to say, I felt all eyes fall to me, everyone covered their mouth clearly impressed and amused at my angel's stubbornness. Closing my mouth I gave her a nod before glancing to my Father "Sorry Alpha" His lip twitched up into a smirk "Thankyou Ace, and Thankyou Aliah, you are welcome here any time" Everyone in the room lost it upon hearing Fathers praise, Aliah lifted her hands to her mouth as she flashed me a cheeky grin. I couldn't help but let a smile tug at my lips, shaking my head at her she finally let her giggle fall from her. The room felt lighter as she did. 

Soon enough the sound of a car could be heard pulling up outside, I tensed knowing it was Stone. Feeling my shift Aliah too tensed up, I looked back to her taking a breath. I needed to remember that she could feel me as I could feel her, my emotions needed to be kept at bay so I didn't upset her. Within in second's Stone was bursting through the door, a worried look on his face as he spotted Aliah. Rushing over to us he knelt down reaching his hand out to her "My Child how in the world did you get here?" Turning away from my hold she looked to her father with a shrug "I-I don't know..." I felt her heartbeat quicken as a sense of uncertainty clouded her. Stone clenched his jaw, reaching out he pushed her hair behind her ear, his eyes darkening as he spotted the markings. 

Stone eyes locked on me as he growled, If looks could kill, I would be dead. "What's on her neck?" Father and Hunter stepped closer, releasing my grip on Aliah I gently gave her to Kane. Stone's scent filled the room, I knew the best thing would be for me to be as far from my angel as possible right now, because right now...it seemed like I was about to have my head ripped off. "Ace.." Whimpering she reached for me to which I shook my head "Sweetheart stay with Kane, I need to talk to your father" Despite Aliah's protests Kane stood with her taking her from the room, I felt her panic once she lost sight of me. I soon felt hands at my throat, the growl of an Alpha filling the room as Stone lost his cool "What did you do" I grimaced feeling his hands constrict round my neck "Let go of him Alpha" Father boomed stepping between us.

"Why are there puncture marks on my daughter's neck?" He growled at my father, his anger taking over as his teeth and claws began to show. "I almost marked her... I lost control, but I promise you she is fine" I stood from the couch. Growling he lunged at me in anger "You almost marked her? a ten year old child!" Callex who must of been in the car ran inside gripping Stone by his shoulder as did father "She's my mate" I spat back feeling my own anger rise, Col and Hunter now stood either side of me preparing for the worst as Stone and I fought "You're perverted thinking of having your way with her so soon"

"I've not once thought of her in that way" I growled at his nonsense feeling Xerxes stir within me "You expect me to believe you" He boomed deeply shaking his head "Give me my child, we are leaving" He turned for the room that Kane had taken Aliah to making me push past Col and Hunter, blocking his path "She doesn't want to leave" I huffed through heavy breaths feeling pain shoot through my Jaw as Xerxes fought to be let out "How would you know" Stone spat, I saw his teeth sharpen as he did. The scent of his Alpha Pheromones consuming the air I was breathing, despite his strength I refused to back down glaring into his eyes.

"....Though he didn't mark Aliah, the punctures were enough to let his venom enter her body. They seem to be affected by this" Father pulled his attention to him as he spoke, his face dropped in realisation that I had created a bond with Ailah. Though small, a bond between wolves is something that cannot be broken. A wave of anger coursed through him again, clenching his jaw he groaned "We had an agreement.." Sensing his calm demeanor I myself relaxed "I know Alpha Stone, I never intended for something like this to happen. I would never hurt Aliah" I felt my heart pull in my chest as I spoke, though I didn't want to hurt Aliah I still drew blood from her neck. The mere memory giving me conflicting feelings, I loved that she didn't pull away... but I hated that I lost control. 

"Please bring my child to me" Stone turned to father who nodded, his eyes glazed over as she linked through to Kane. A moment later he walked back through the doors with a panic stricken Aliah by his legs, she ran to me in tears. Crouching down I immediately accepted her embrace as she sniffled "T-That was so s-scary, I-I could feel e-everything" She hiccuped between words, rubbing her back I hushed her "I'm sorry angel, I was just angry everything's okay" She nodded into my shoulder before Stone crouched down behind me, Aliah peeked her eyes over my arm unsure of what her father was feeling. I looked between them as he smiled at her"Are you alright my child?" She nodded, wiping the wet streaks from her face "So your emotions are already connected?" 

"I believe so, it's not strong but it is there" He nodded to me slowly before looking back to Aliah "I believe in our agreement we stated that she was to be with you if something were to happen..." I nodded silently feeling hope rise in my chest "Child would you like to stay with Ace today?" Her eyes lit up hearing Stone's words "Like a sleepover!" She beamed with excitement making me laugh, Stone nodded before sternly looking to me "Long as others are present that's fine with me" I gave him a nod in understanding before Aliah ran to him wrapping her arms around his neck "Thank You Dad" He looked shock soaking in his daughters praise for a moment before he embraced her. 

Standing he turned to father letting Aliah run back to me, the smile on her face making me melt "I apologise for my outburst, please ensure nothing like this happens again otherwise we will have to reconsider the agreement" I lowered my gaze breathing in my angels scent as he spoke, his words cutting me like a knife. Father held out his hand which Stone humbly accepted "You have my Word Alpha" With that Stone looked back to Aliah and I, I stood with her holding onto my leg still full of excitement "I'm only a call away okay child" She nodded "Thankyou, thankyou, thankyou!" The room felt lighter as her voice filled it, for the first time I think I saw Stone genuinely smile, it reaching his eyes as he gazed down at my beauty. He looked up to me with anod before him and Callex departed, father and Hunter walking them out. 

Kane dropped to the floor beside Aliah making her squeal with joy "So what do you wanna do today pumpkin?" I shook my head at him, he acted like an overgrown kid. Raising her hand to her lip she looked on as she pondered the question, I felt the sorrow that began to fill her making me drop to my knees in worry. I rubbed circles on her back in comfort, her sucking her lip into her mouth getting lost in her thoughts "What's wrong?" Kane questioned looking at me, I shook my head letting her feelings overcome me in order to understand.. a moment passed until I finally did "I don't think she's ever had this much freedom before..." 

Turning my gaze to her I reached up, placing my thumb on her chin I pulled her lip from her teeth. It popped as I did, making my body tense at the adorable sound, her innocent eyes looked to me as if in a daze. Remembering she could feel what I could I stopped my thoughts, shaking them off I spoke "How about we show you around our land? That way you'll never feel lost here again sweetheart" She smiled quickly nodding her head at the idea. Standing I took her small hand in mine, Kane and Col followed behind us as we made our way outside. I felt a sense of pride rise within me that I was finally showing my mate around my home, my pack. She smiled in awe beside me as we walked down the paths that led through the home belonging to our pack members, Bardou, one of our Hunter wolves walked out as we were on our way past. 

"Good Morning Beta" He greeted me "Good Morning Bardou, you're up early" He smiled back at me with a nod "Yes, Just going to gather some supplies" He responded before his gaze caught sight of my angel who was gripping my hand tightly "And who might this be?"  He questioned leaning forward on his knees to get a better look, Aliah smiled brightly, stepping away from my leg that she was hiding behind "This is Aliah..." I paused my words, it wasn't until now that I remembered part of the agreement. No one was to know that she was my mate.
