RAVEN COULD NOT hide her excitement when they arrived at the zoo. She would gawk at every animal, eyes twinkling.
She would occasionally jump in to join when an animal touched her. The monkey amused her the most.
"Look here, Raven." Hiro was holding a camera in his hands, pointing the lenses at her. "I will take a picture of you with the monkey. Come on!"
Raven smiled at the camera awkwardly. She was eyeing Rowie from time to time, checking if she was still with them.
Hiro noticed so he said, "Stand beside her, Rowie. I will take a picture of you two."
When Rowie stood beside Raven, she felt her ease a bit. Maybe this was just awkward for Raven because she was not that close with her father.
I need to do something for them to feel comfortable. I didn't want Raven to grow up like me
