I was walking towards the reception when I felt a wave of pain shooting through my body. I clutched my heart in my hand and my jaws clenched in pain. I clenched my fists because I didn’t want to scare those kids. Darkness appeared in front of my eyes and I closed my eyes to stable myself for a bit. My mind became numb for a bit because the pain was too much.
“Leo! What is going on?” I asked, and he yelped in pain before uttering a few words.
“Mate! Our mate is in danger,” he said before hiding at the back of my mind. I shook my head and looked at both kids. Their eyes were already focused on me and I gave them a forced smile.
