(Ember POV)
“So, I heard you peed on the bed today,” Kira asked in a taunting tone and I groaned in embarrassment.
“Can you please stop it?” I asked, and she burst into laughter. I don’t know how I convinced my children that I slept without going to the washroom, so I wet the bed. It was one of the most embarrassing moments of my life. They were laughing again and again and I turned red like a tomato. We dropped them to their kindergarten and now we are heading to my new office. I had already informed Erica about this new arrangement and she managed all the work in my old office.
“Ember! Can you please enlighten me on how you end up wetting the bed?” she asked and I could sense the hidden fear in her voice.
