(Lucian POV) “I think our mate will not choose us,” I said while looking towards the wall in which a big ancient painting of wolves was present. “And why are you thinking so positively?” Archer asked in a sarcastic tone, but I don’t want to argue with him about this. “Because she didn’t even send a single text after reaching her apartment. It's been twenty-four hours and she didn’t even think of sending a single text to us,” I almost yelled, and he arched his brow. “So, you are missing her, right?” His question caught me off guard and I cleared my throat to lessen the awkwardness and a smirk appeared on his face. “Don’t ask like you are not missing her already?” I questioned him but he shrugged in response. “Yes! I miss her but I am not the one who is behaving like a grumpy kid,”
