Chapter 7: Day 6, Darlington Securities
Darlington Securities is easily pushed to the back of my mind and temporarily forgotten. For the time being, I need not think about my business, New York City, and a busy life away from Barefoot Beach. Roberta Johnson, Redford Tanning, and Walter Schmidt handle all of the company’s accounts. The European division of Darlington Securities is handled by various branches based in Frankfurt, London, and Paris. A new location will be opening in Buenos Aires in 2015, and also one in Dubai in 2015.
If a call does come in from New York City, or other various worldwide office hubs, an emergency is definitely at hand; something I will have to handle immediately, without conditions my staff is quite the exceptional team and can manage any and all situations, trained with much skill. Each is generously paid for their services, seem to enjoy working for my company, and can be trusted to conduct the business while I vacation for the next month.
In the meantime, I get to enjoy fruity drinks, the surf and sand, lobster dinners, young men on the beach, the occasional bare-bottomed tanner, and the temperate weather.
