I followed the path he was walking, keeping my eyes on his moving figure. Ignoring the stance of where I was, a sharp pain brought me back to my senses.
"Ouch!" I slumped on the bushy path, grabbing my leg to find out what had caused such alarming pain. A small nail had dug deep into my foot, for a moment the pain was the only thing on my mind.
