I stirred on my bed trying to force myself to sleep, yet my eyes were shining as bright as the sun. Sleep was far away from me and I couldn't tell why.
I am so worried and I don't know the reason behind it. Is it about Dan's proposal or Damon sighting us in the garden?
I stood up from my bed and left for the bathroom, pouring a required amount of water on my face.
I stepped out with a clean cloth drying my wet face, the night breeze hit differently, and the remaining water beads caused cold shivers.
"You are not asleep yet?" I jumped in fright, staggering from the shock of hearing Damon's voice out of the blue.
I clamped my aching chest breathing heavily. "Goddess! Alpha Damon, what are you doing here and how did you open my door?" I asked gulping down my spew.
