His plaything

*ROSA* Fear gripped me as hard as he did, his firm hands around my wrist, grounding me into place even as I relentlessly tried to wriggle out of his grip. I'd never been held so tightly before, and even as I tried to remain calm, my defense was falling off one after the other before this man's imposing presence. All I'd heard up until this moment were rumors of his cruelty. I hated to admit it, but he did look the part. The handsome devil who had his claws wrapped around me. —and he was my mate? "Let go of me!" I yelled with all the courage I could muster. My knees were weak, and I felt my wolf burn with intense desire. It never happened with Max. Something I'd never felt before. My mind was going crazy with thoughts. I understood nothing of what was happening. He pulled his dark, silky hair back with his other hand and shot me a glare that made my stomach flip. There's a hint of subtlety in his icy blue eyes, but not a show of affection. He looked at me like a child would a new toy, without even saying a word. "No! No!!" I raged, turning to them with a contorted expression. My heart was racing with fear, and I tried to shut down everything my wolf was feeling. "Wait, I know you don't want to do this. Look, I'd move out, okay? I'd leave everything for you!" I tried to negotiate, but I could already see the fear in their eyes. They made a deal with the devil, and I was the price. These people were selling me to a murderer, a man so emotionless that he was not to be called a man anymore. Did they not know this before the deal was made for Linda? And now, I have to sacrifice myself for them? The room grew hotter by the second. My uncle looked up at him, stuttering as he spoke. "Alpha Damon, you can take her since the deal has been sorted." Damon? Which meant Demon. God! What sort of trouble had I gotten myself into? Damon's grip around my hand tightened, bruising me in the process. Before I knew it, tears had already begun to stream down my face in torrents. "No, no! I'm not going anywhere with you!" My wolf said otherwise. My nostrils were filled with the scent of him, and that aggravated my confusion. I couldn't say I didn't want him, but I feared his presence like anyone would. He hadn't said a word to me, just holding me to his side like a treasure that mustn't be lost. I looked at him again, watching a muscle in his jaw tick as he gritted his teeth. "I'm not going-" "Shut up, child!" My uncle yelled, his voice laced with annoyance. His brows drew together as he glared at me. "You should be lucky someone wants you despite that disgusting behavior of yours!" My aunt nodded in agreement. I noticed Damon's head tilt towards their direction, and they ate up all their words. Tension filled the room again, swallowing me whole. "LET. GO. OF. ME!!" I shouted again, bringing my teeth closer to Damon's hand and biting him. The beast of a man didn't blink, neither did he budge. He stared down at me, as he's easily twice my height, and muttered something I didn't quite hear. Before I knew it, I was being swept up in his arms, carrying me bridal style as he stormed towards the door, his footfalls echoing in my head like bad music. "Mate!" My wolf growled within me, but I knew I wouldn't ever accept it. Not with this man, ever! Damon still hadn't said anything. "Let me go!" I kicked my feet. "You good for nothing! All of you! Let go of me!" My little fight was futile. Another moment passed by, and we were outside, standing before the majestic carriage he'd brought with him. There were two guards on the horses by the front. The thought of going away with him made my stomach twist. What could I do to get away from him!? My voice had gone hoarse from shouting relentlessly. Damon paused, a scowl sitting on his face. He turned to my uncle. "You have no access to her anymore," He stated blankly before one of his guards slipped by him, bearing a sack of coins and dumping it before my Uncle. Then, the realization hit me like a thunderbolt on a rainy day. I wasn't being married off. I was being sold to him. "You traitors!" I yelled again, trying to wriggle free. "I hate you! I hate you all so much!" Tears freely flowed from my eyes. I left everything for you. How could you do this to me!?" "QUIET!" Damon growled, infuriated. He set me down immediately, and I landed on my butt. Though we were outside, Damon's voice rang through every corner. The anger in his voice bred fear within me. It tore into my skin in ways that I couldn't possibly imagine a person's voice could. It reverberated and echoed, instilling more anxiety in me. I didn't dare to move or say a word. Neither would my hand stop shaking. All I could do was cry quietly. "Get in, Rosa," He commanded harshly, biting into the words. "You don't want me to do it for you." I'd never felt this much violated in my entire life. I stood up limply, stealthily approaching the carriage. With every step, my life flashed before my eyes. This was the end of it all. Why did I deserve a life this shitty? I spared my uncle one last glance before proceeding, my eyes red and puffy from crying too hard. I needed to survive this moment first, and I knew it'd only get worse if I tried to defy Damon's orders. He'd been said to kill people for lower reasons. He was darkness itself. The alpha of all alpha. The one who ruled the night. His ruthlessness had earned him so many nicknames. "Do not try to contact her," I heard Damon say the moment I climbed into the carriage. It made me squirm in my seat. "We won't, Alpha Damon. She'd never been needed here," My uncle responded hastily. I could hear the pleasure in his voice. That bastard! "She's all yours," His wife added, "We're pleased to have her gone. . .She is our child but we think she needs a man like you to shape her” She added. I tensed up when he sat next to me. "Go!" He ordered his guards. As soon as the horses began galloping, the reality of my situation began to sink in. I'd been sold to the ruthless Alpha. My life was over! "Mate!" My wolf cried again, and I lost it. "Shut up! Stop it," I screamed. "Stop it! Make it stop! Please make it stop!!" I fought my hair and almost tore it out. I got no reaction out of Damon. He merely turned his head and eyed me. "I wouldn't like to buy something so expensive and then end up having to feed it to my dogs." Cold chills ran down my spine, and everything else I wanted to say hooked me in the throat. I was scared, way too afraid that my body wouldn't stop trembling. "Where are you taking me?" I asked in a small voice. "Hell," Damon responded without looking at me. Hell?
