Ken looked at Julie and said, “I haven’t seen you for ages. Come on, sit down and talk with me.”
Julie scowled at him and said, “I’m sorry, but I just don’t have time.”
“You don’t have time for me,” Ken laughed, “but you have time for Thompson. How does that work?”
“What are you talking about?” Julie replied. “Thompson isn’t here!”
Ken drew a cigarette from his pocket, lit it, and said, “Seeing is believing.”
“Whatever,” Julie sighed.
Ken: “If I told you that he was with Dora and they were f*****g as we speak, would you believe me?”
Julie froze for a second and then she snarled at him. “What do you know about Thompson and Dora?” You may have seen them together, but so what? Dora works for Thompson. Everyone knows that, so what are you hinting at?”
