Although Julie did not rely on Thompson’s to do her thinking for her, she took his advice seriously. He was smart, he had good ideas and, given the way that he looked at the world, she suspected that he was the only person in the world who would ever truly understand her.
In Julie’s opinion, she and Thompson were a perfect match. Seeing them together, in private, most people who saw them together; that is, their family and friends, they came to the same conclusion. Harold, for one, couldn’t help but wondered if there was anything these two, together, could not pull off, and he was itching to see what kind of revenge they would enact on Laurence and Jasmine.
