In the morning, Julie opened eyes in confusion.
Hadn’t she fallen asleep on the sofa in the living room last night? How had she made it back to bedroom?

She touched her neck. It was in pain. It seemed to be true: this bastard was really bad.
She had just talked back to him a couple of times on the way back to their hotel room, then he’d tortured her the whole night.
He couldn’t take advantage of her so easily. She had to demand double alimony when they got divorced.
When she squeezed out some toothpaste, Julie noticed his toothbrush again. Pupu was not there this time, so she threw his toothbrush into the toilet without any worries.
