The manager came to himself, nodded shyly, then led them to the room.
After the episode, Jasmine was embarrassed to have dinner there. She waved goodbye to everyone after telling the restaurant manager to count all the guests’ bills to her room number.
When she was out of the restaurant, she threw her sunglasses on the ground then stepped on them angrily.
“Jasmine, what are…?” Andrew was confused by her actions.
“What else could I do?” Her eyes were full of tears, and her lips were shaking. “I was pissed off by Julie so I lost my head and said it like that. Would you be happy if everyone said I was not good?”
“I didn’t mean that.” Andrew held her gently in comfort. “Its goanna be fine. Don’t be angry. Let’s go somewhere else.”
Jasmine gnashed her teeth. She had lost her appetite.
