Chapter 8Gage remained quiet as he, Calian, and Flynn walked all the way back to the apartment. He didn’t utter a single word when the three of them entered the private elevator, and he watched in silence as Flynn placed his right index finger on the security system before pressing number eight. The three of them were no longer sticking close to one another, but Gage was unwilling to stand too far away from either Calian or Flynn. He used to never believe in the supernatural, but he couldn’t pretend that he hadn’t witnessed all those weird things earlier. He had many things he was curious about, but he didn’t know how or where to start.
