We talked for a couple more minutes before we eventually had to split ways. It’s been more than a week since my brother left again. Since then, I’ve been trying to stay positive, but I know that deep inside it still hurts. But talking to him made my mind calm for a moment.
I was supposed to go straight home, but I saw my editor along the way. "You look so happy. Did Chloe really give you an extension? " I nodded with a smile, although that wasn’t really the reason why I was so happy. I couldn’t really explain it, but I feel so happy right now.
