Eilith’s POV-
After I showered, I changed into a sky-blue skater dress and white Vans. I would have worn sandals or heels. But I suspected we would be doing a lot of walking today. I was glad that they wanted to go back and take showers. After what had happened in the gym, I needed to take a shower and think about what had happened. My thoughts swam around Matthew and what he did to save me, how I felt in his arms, and what he said to me. The shower gave me time to sort through how I felt.
I did text Kelly about what had happened, and she seemed overly thrilled that he protected me. She was calling him knight in shining armor, and a hero. She did ask how I felt about it, and honestly it made me happy to know he actually protected me, and would continue to do so. My grandparents did tex
