Never Alone:

Pythia POV:

    It's been a almost a month since everything happened. I have split our group so we can help grow the surrounding trees how they once were. We all needed to stay shielded from the humans, not that I think they would do anything but still. We liked our privacy. I started making pathways for all of us to take so that the kids could walk in the woods without being lost if they ever wanted to go for a walk or whatever it is they do. I guess I will be finding out in eight short months when our little bundle of joy decides to enter the world. That was a shock of a life time finding out not only was I pregnant but so were the others. I left Tye with the other alphas so they can have their little meeting while I tended to the elders, every since word broke out that I was mated to a wolf and was now carrying a child of that wolf the elders have had a huge stick up their asses about it. I wore his mark with pride because for the first time I wasn't looked at like I was some object that could be owned. I could see the love in his eyes and he constantly told me what I meant to him. A smile crept to my lips just thinking about it all. "What are you thinking?" Ambrosia said as she walked towards me. "Just about these damn elders. I swear they will never be happy with anything that I do." I replied, which honestly it was the truth. "Would you like for me to come with you? I don't have anything else to do since Jackson is with the others." Ambrosia said. 

    It was odd that after all of this she was one of the closest people to me other than Alley and the other girls. Ambrosia was always by my side. "It might get a little heated in there, but I would love to have some company.'' I replied smiling at her. "If it gets heated then so be it, you won't have to face them alone." Ambrosia said taking my hand. I don't know what I did to deserve such good people in my life but I am thankful for it. "You're the best you know that? I honestly am kind of glad that I am not going in alone though." I said taking a deep breath, we walked in and down the long hallway. "You will never be alone again sister, that I can promise you." Ambrosia said as she straightened her back and squared her shoulders. As soon as I opened the door three pairs of eyes locked on Ambrosia. I'm starting to miss the old elders we had before they went on their little suicide mission and got themselves killed to turn a wolf in to a seer. "What is that thing doing here?" Damien asked narrowing his eyes. Ambrosia chuckled next to me. "It must be hard being a little man among strong women, and no I'm not talking about you two bitches either. Mind your tone or lose your tongue." Ambrosia said cheerfully. I covered my laughter with a cough and cleared my throat. "How dare you speak to us that way! Do you know who we are?" Jessica snapped. "Oh shut up, y'all are the second hand offs of elders, what did you call me here for?" I asked rolling my eyes.

    Storm cleared her throat, "It is bad enough you ran off and mated with a mutt but now you are pregnant?! Do you not see the issue with this?" I narrowed my eyes. Did she just call Tye and Rex a mutt? "You will not speak of either of them in that manner, the moon goddess pairs us all with someone and it is not my problem you old asses were not blessed to have a mate. Maybe you should rethink how you treat others." I replied, with each word  I spoke the more upset I got. "Speaking ill of our mates will not get you anywhere, she may not kill you but I will with no hesitation." Ambrosia spoke with venom in her voice. If I didn't know her I would be very afraid of her. "You are suppose to lead the dark witches and now you are keeping the peace? For what? Your precious mate?" Jessica spat clearly ignoring Ambrosias warning. "I would listen to her warning. I am the queen and yes I am keeping the peace because I think we all deserve that. Or are each of you saying we don't deserve peace?" I replied looking at each of them. "We do want peace but we believe it should stay within our coven." Damien said. "That will never happen. We will keep the peace among us all and if anyone goes against it they will die. This is not a conversation I am willing to negotiate on." I replied crossing my arms across my chest. 

    Jessica let out a gross laugh, "You are choosing others over your own?" I wonder how much trouble I would get in if I killed her. "I am choosing everyone, if you don't like it then I suggest you step down and let another take your place." I replied. I can not believe they are being so stubborn about change. This is a good thing for our coven, we won't have to hide anymore. We won't be hated anymore, people will see united front among us all why do they refuse to see that? "How are we suppose to mingle with dogs? How are we suppose to mingle with them?" Jessica shouted pointing at Ambrosia. "My people are fully willing to be peaceful, unlike you three walking death sticks who are so unwilling to change, and why is that?" Ambrosia asked. I really need to learn her snappy come backs. "We shouldn't have to change to make others happy! We have always been the dominant race!" Jessica shouted. "I am doing this to make our coven happy! We were dominant long ago before all you elders f****d everything up! We have been hunted and killed because of the choices you elders made. I am taking us back to where we were. Carry ourselves with pride and aid when we are needed." I roared. She is really starting to piss me off. 

    "What are you doing to do if we choose not to side with you on this?" Storm asked. "I have already put it in place. Should you go against it you will die." I replied in an even tone. "You can't kill us. There are more elders who think the same and have reported you to-" "Jessica shut up!" Damien snapped cutting Jessica off. "Excuse me? Reported me to who?" I asked taking a step forward, Ambrosia tensed next to me and  unfolded her arms. "To the grand elders." Jessica finished with a smirk. "You think that scares me?" I asked tilting my head to the side. "If you go against them they will kill you and that unborn mutt you have growing inside you." Jessica smirked. I leaped across the table at her only to have Ambrosia pull me back "You ever say some s**t like that again about my child and I will kill you with my bare hands you b***h!" I roared. "Jessica that was out of line!" Damien screamed. "Pythia sweetie you have to calm down." Ambrosia said as she pulled me back. "Yeah calm down, you wouldn't want anything to happen." Jessica screamed. I heard crashing throughout the house and his scent hit me before anything did. "Pythia!" Tye roared as the door crashed open. "Ambrosia!" Jackson called out. I didn't even turn to see them, my eyes were focused on Jessica. "Oh look, mutts to the rescu-" Jessica was cut off by Ambrosia who in what seemed like one motion grab Jessica by the throat and pinned her against the wall     

    Ambrosia had her face inches from Jessicas, "If you ever speak ill of our mates again I will rip your tongue out. If you ever speak death upon our unborn children again I will rip your head from your shoulders. Do I make myself clear?" Ambrosia said, fangs out and venom in her voice. Damien ran forward and grabbed Ambrosias shoulder which earned him a deathly growl from Jackson who sent the table flying to the side. "If you touch her I will kill you Damien make no mistake." I seethed. He removed his hand and took a step back, "How can you let her hurt your elder!" Storm screamed. "How can you let your fellow elder wish death on unborn children?" I retorted. "Pythia what happened?" Alley asked as she walked in. Well hell they literally brought everyone. "That elder against the wall doesn't like wolves or vampires and doesn't want peace. She threatened the life of not only Ambrosias unborn child, but mine as well." I replied not taking my eyes off Damien who looked like he was going to pass out. "Now, I could take this to the elders or I can pass judgement here." I stated. Jessicas eyes went wide when it finally hit her that she was going to lose her life for her words. "Pythia think before you do anything!" Storm rasped out. "There is no saving your friend. I said it over and over that peace will be kept and since you are all so stubborn and she stooped so low that she now can not be trusted she is going to lose her life. I will say this one more time. Peace will be kept and those who go against it will die." I said looking around to everyone. 

    Ambrosias hand tightened around Jessicas neck to the point her nails dug in and drew blood, Jessica screamed in pain and I did not feel sorry for her at all. She can't be trusted now, Ambrosia tilted her head to the side before she took her other hand and sunk it within Jessicas chest pulling her heart out. Damien and Storm didn't utter a single word. "I guess you both need to get to work on finding another elder to replace her. She will get no ritual funeral either so don't try it. Now if there is nothing else I am leaving." I said turning my back to see literally all the alphas and lunas that had filled in the room. It dawned on me then that these people whom I would have never even considered being friends with were the first to come when something happened. Tye probably felt my rage but they didn't have to come and yet they did. I am so use to doing things alone and they have shown me time after time that I don't have to do that anymore. Tye placed his hand in mine and together we all walked out of that disgusting house. It's hard to even look at it, I have put everything in place for us to make upgrades and I can't wait for it to be done. "Let's go have dinner." Alley said cheerfully, I know she is trying to lighten the situation and what had just happened. "I am starving to be honest. 

    As they walked ahead I held Tye back. "What is it my green eyed beauty? Are you okay? The baby?" Tye fired off questions left and right so I placed my hand over his mouth. "I am fine, we are fine but I have been turned in to the grand elders and I will be summoned there and I will have to go through a trial. You need to prepare yourself as do I. This is going to be a bumpy road, this has happened because I am keeping the peace and because I am mated to you. We will go in to more details tonight but I needed to tell you." I said not being able to look him in the eye. I just want everything to be easy and it seems like it won't be. "Hey, no matter what I will be here, so will the others, you won't go through this alone and we will figure all of this out my beauty I promise." Tye said kissing my forehead. We just need to get through this trial and hopefully come out unscathed...
