Pythia POV:
My life has never been an easy one, being the daughter of the queen of us dark witches was never easy. My mother did things that I did not agree with but because I was shown no respect she never listened. When Bosch came to us everything within me screamed to run, I mean the man looked like death himself and oozed with betrayal. I did my research on him, he murdered his own mate, his own sister and anyone who got in his way. He is truly a sick f**k, but he made the mistake of telling my mother what he was after and I couldn't allow her to make such a move. It would literally kill us all and that is something I would not allow. Our people deserve to live, not die at the hands of a selfish power hungry monster. It wasn't long I recruited Stony and Lilith, my two closest friends. They have stuck with me through everything and when I told them what was going on they didn't have to think on anything. They knew she was going to take us all down with her and we needed to take her out. It was an incredibly hard night as much as I loathed that woman she was still my mother and I didn't have the time to mourn her. Because shortly after that I took over and was summoned by the great white witch herself. I must admit I had my guard fully up with her because we were taught at a young age not to trust any outsiders.
After I spoke with her I had a lot to consider, if I truly wanted to aid in this battle. Part of me didn't want to but the other part kept telling me that I needed to, like something was waiting for me there and I can't figure out what it is. Each time we have aided them Alley has stayed true to her word and has proven that even though she is a tiny little thing she is very strong and very fierce. We got word that s**t is going down soon. As soon as word was passed to me I made preparations not long after I gave the orders I was summoned by the elders. As I walked the hallway I couldn't help but think what a cranky bunch of old hags they were. They did not like change and they certainly did not like us helping wolves and vampires. Our races never mingled because we all hated each other but I can sense a change coming. "Pythia how nice of you to finally join us." Damien said as I entered the room. "I came when you called, what do you all need?" I asked a little impatient. "Don't use that tone with us young witch we are your elders!" Storm snapped. "Oh shut up I don't have time for this s**t. You may be elders but none of you have my respect. Now tell me what I have been called here for." I seethed looking around the room. "You little b***h!" Jessica roared as she stood to her feel. "Insigna!" I roared watched her arms going up in flames. "Alright knock it off!" Damien shouted tossing a blanket over her arms.
"Look, we just need to talk that is all." Storm said. "About what?" I asked. "We want you to pull out of this battle Pythia, this is not our place." Damien said sternly. "Yeah each of you can go f**k yourselves, this is our place because our own people turned on us!" I roared feeling anger run through me. How dare they not see that. They can't be this blind can they? "It is bad enough you kill the one housed up! These are our people and we will deal with them!" Jessica yelled. "I am doing this with those who back me and that is final." I said looking to the three of them. "If you do this there will be consequences with the grand elders." Storm warned. I rolled my eyes before walking out of the dingy ass room. Something deep within me said I need to help and I needed to be there and I intend on figuring what was calling me there. Lillith popped in beside me. "I heard. Are you okay?" She asked. "I am fine. Just a bunch of cranky old people, you know how it goes." I replied. "I do know how it goes, you know I got your back through anything but those old cranky assholes seem to want to watch you burn." Lillith replied. "I have no doubts but I'll kill them before they even get the chance to." I replied. "Stony is making his usual check list to make sure everything is ready for tonight. I still can't believe this is all happening." Lillith said. "Me either but I need to be there, and some changes are going to happen. I'm tired of the way we all look, greasy, dirty and just nasty am I the only one that bathes here?" I said. Lillith laughed beside me.
"Well we do need to update this old ass house but what would you like us to do?" She asked. "All women are to pull their hair back and if the men have long hair cut it. Clean up because I have a feeling that after this battle is done we will mean something more." I replied as I stopped in front of my door. "Yes ma'am if there is anything else that you need let me know." Lillith said before she disappeared. I swear it's like they don't even care what they look like anymore. We were once beautiful and it seems like I am the only one who still holds to that. I decided to French braid my hair in to two sides and braid the remaining down my back, black spandex pants because those are easy to move around in, a black sports bra with a black tank top. If it happens at night black will help us blend in better. I looked at myself in the mirror and looked over myself. One day my skin won't be as pale but my green eyes stood out the most. They were my favorite thing about me. I decided to check in on Stony to see if he made any progress, we only had thirty minutes before midnight and I know at any moment s**t can hit the fan. I popped in to the room behind Stony, "What did I tell you about popping in behind me?" Stony snapped. "Don't be so cranky we both know that you move a lot. Are we ready?" I asked walking to stand beside him. "Yes, everything is ready. I have issued out four per each witch and I have sent some of the others to hide he rest throughout to forest so we can re stock if need be." Stony replied.
I knew I could count on him to handle this. "Call everyone to the media room, we need to give them a pep talk." I said before teleporting to the media room. I know it would take to long so I walked on stage and sat down waiting. Very quickly my witches started coming in and taking a seat, the looked to me with determination in their eyes. When they last of them piled in I cleared my throat. "Now you all know what will be happening and I need to know now if any of you want to back out." I said, my voice echoed the room but no one moved. "Some of you may die, but if we are smart none of us will. Do not think with your emotions. We all know what will happen. If you don't know then allow me to tell you, if you think with emotions you will lose control of yourself and your powers. We are strong men and women, we will fight in this battle and make the change we all want." I said looking around the room, everyone had cleaned up wearing black on black. "Does anyone have any questions?" I asked looking around the room. "How do we know that they won't turn on us?" Maze asked. "It is something I feel within my bones, something is calling us there. As you all know I have met with them and some of you know Alley is true to her word as is Ambrosia." I replied
"What is going to happen after all of this?" Someone in the back shouted out. "New rules will be put in to place, we will update all of our things, there is a high possibility that we will keep the peace with the others." I replied. Gasps rang out and I rolled my eyes. "Do not tell me you all wish to keep fighting and dying? Don't you all want peace for once? To go back to what we were before?" I asked narrowing my eyes. "I want peace. I miss our beauty." Stony said standing up. "Yeah! We were the ones people came to for help, we protected each other. Supported each other and I believe peace is a smart choice." Lillith yelled out. "Do any of you know why we are called dark witches?" I asked. No one said a thing. Goddess, school is a must after this. No more of the stories passed down, we need to be educated. "It's for the dark magic we use, but it always comes at a price the darker it goes. I do not advise any of you use beyond your limit. Over time our elders did and look what we have become. Greasy, thin, boarder line reptiles. I am going to take us back to how we were. Respected and held to a high standard. No more dark magic, unless it it approved and it better be a damn good reason." I said looking around the room. "Prepare yourselves I feel something in the shadows." I said looking around. Stony and Lillith came to stand by me. ''What do you feel?" Stony asked. "I'm not sure, but something is moving in the forest and I know it isn't Alley or her people. Do you not feel it?" I asked. "It feels like death, and anger." Before I knew it Alley and Stephen stood in front of me "It is time. Grab everyone and meet us at the boarder quickly." Alley said. I jumped to my feet. "You heard her let's go! Grab what you need and move quickly and quietly!" I shouted, I turned to talk to her but she was already gone. Everyone jumped up and scrambled.
"Do not take more than what you need! We do not have time to be slowed down!" I yelled out before running and grabbing for four potions that were checked off to me. I created one very special potion for Bosch, it will turn him to stone but only for a few hours and I knew it would give us the advantage we needed. I met up with everyone out front. "You all know your positions. Teleport to them and stay low and stay quiet. Listen for Alley and Stephen, if you see Ambrosia and her team try to stay by some of them. We have the hidden potions and no one is expecting us there. Go now!" I said before I ran up to my room.
I flung the door open and ran over to my desk where my knife set was waiting, quickly i tucked them in to my waist band, up my sleeves and down by my ankles. I wasn’t sure how many of them I needed so i needed to try to remember not to lose the ones i am packing. “Everyone is leaving now Pythia we need to go.” Lilith yelled. “Just go! I know my spot I’ll be there soon.” I yelled back. I didn’t have time to double check anything so without putting much thought in to it i teleported in the tree facing Alley and Stephen. My heart raced with anticipation as I watched them all get in their hiding spots. Not long after that I heard rusting coming from behind me. I knew better than to look, our mission was to stay quiet and have the element of surprise, I could feel hatred roll off of them and I couldn't tell who hated who more. Bosch came in to my view. He stopped just before the shield, "Oh Alley, I know you are hiding here somewhere, I must say I am impressed you hid everyone and ruined my plan." Bosch shouted, his voice made my skin crawl. "Let's not play hide and seek my little witch, we have unfinished business.'' Bosch seethed. Goddess I wanted to kill him but it is not my place. "Alley you should be happy the time has come a lot sooner, you know I need justice after what you did to me the last time." Bosch screamed. Ah yes when she kicked his ass without even trying. That is a great memory.
It quickly flashed through my head of the moment those two collided, Bosch never stood a chance in that moment but when Alley nearly drowned him with water well that was karma all in itself if you want my honest opinion. I snapped out of the memory to look down at him. He was seething with anger and it rolled off him like a tidal wave. His body twitched as he looked around making him seem more edgier. I knew he was looking for Alley and his frustration that everyone was hidden was evident. He wasn’t the type that liked to be challenged. I have a feeling no one really stood up to him in any way.
"Come on you little b***h! Get out here!" Bosch roared. How dare he?! I am absolutely shocked that he had the nerve to speak to her that way after each time she beat his ass. Then it dawned on me at what he was playing at. By insulting her he knew no wolf would like their leaders to be threatened in such a way and for him to flat out call her a b***h was just down right disrespectful and it angered me to my core. How pathetic of him to even believe he stood a chance but when your ego is that big i guess you believe anything that you put in your head.
Growls erupted everywhere and right then I knew he officially pissed off every single wolf here. They don't do well when a Luna is threatened. Alley and Stephen stepped out and I heard Bosch clapping his hands, "Well well well looks like the little witch wants to die after all." Bosch said with a smirk. The look on Alleys face was murderous. I shifted my gaze to her mate and I could see the hate in his eyes. Both of their auras were colliding with each other to make one giant one and that shocked me. I’ve never seen something like that happen before. Bosch may think he is about to get the jump on them but little does he know I am hiding above him and I have a secret plan of my own. The rogues are also hidden with the vampires. He really has no idea how badly this is about to get for him.
My hand tightened around the bag I was going to be using at any moment and I had only one thought. Kill as many as I get my hands on and help end this fight a lot quicker.......
