Katie's POV
The alarm on my phone jolted me awake. I opened my eyes and grabbed my phone to turn it off. I sighed as I was alone in my bed. James had to go to another pack with his father. He said they would be back this morning. Today is my birthday, and tonight is the big party where Uncle Nate will officially announce me as James's mate and the future Luna.
Sighing, I got out of bed. It may be my birthday, but I still have to go to school. Uncle Nate told me I could skip today, but there were important tests in two of my classes, and I didn't want to miss them.
