“Hello Mate,” Ben Hudson said to Katie, who I was holding tightly in my arms. He was smiling at her, but she shrank into me.
She shook her head. “No,” She buried her face in my chest, and Ben growled.
“You can let go of my mate now, James.” He stepped towards us.
I released Katie and put myself in front of her. “You can f**k off,” I growled back at him.
