Alicia's POV.
The young maid informed me that Tyler had ordered for me to be moved to the room beside his own. I followed her out of the room, my mind filled with questions about his decision. I know he despises me, so keeping me close to him doesn't seem like something he would do.
Could this be another way for him to torment me? Keeping me close would only make it easier for him to make my life hell. I couldn't stop my mind from coming up with reasons behind his decision, I was lost in thought until I realized the maid was gone.
Only when I heard a loud clattering noise did I look up and realize she had disappeared. Confused, I paused and looked around the large house. The various hallways indicated she must have turned somewhere, but I hadn't noticed.
